Cobweb(?) on substrate after pasteurization, still useable?
    #24473581 - 07/10/17 09:21 PM (3 years, 9 months ago)

So this is probably a dumb question, but being that everything I've read (and also already killed some myself), you can kill cobweb easily with h2o2,  I figured I'd ask if there is any way of saving it.

I made a large batch of sub, peat/verm/coffee/wormpoo/gypsum. Having good success so far with this mix. Anyways, I pasteurized all this sub in large ziplocks a few days ago, and didn't get a chance to case with my spawn yet. Well I went to finally case some trays, and looked at the sub and inside the ziplock there is light traces of cobweb.

Just wondering if since it's easy to kill, if I can just spray all the sub down with h2o2, or re-pasteurize or something, or if it's just not wise to use all this bulk sub I just made?

Not wise to use.
If you pasteurized it, it shouldn't have contaminated format least a week so check your pasteurization method
