Do any of you have brain damage? I suffer from elongated after effects of multiple head trauma cases, I can only remember 4 of them but I've had 6 In total. But having brain damage absolutely blows ass, constant visual distortions, audio distortions (It makes me hard at hearing as well). Not only do I behold these symptoms, but also its hard remembering new facts, I need to constantly remind myself of something new in my life for it to take hold in my memories. Psychotic breakdowns, this happens a bit rarely but when it does happen, it can be spontanious and constant. Weird though processes, I just always find myself thinking of things in such an out of the box way, If I were to take a route to drive to the grocery store, I would take the most bizarre route known.
How do you deal with brain damage if you have it? I'm stuck here in my own personal hell.
Perhaps a stupid question, but has this been diagnosed?
Growing up, I was a violent terror, I used to smash my head up the wall, hit myself etc all the time. I've noticed no damaging effects from all those years of trauma.
What I have noticed is that anxiety and stress can cause such forgetfulness (especially if it's a concern.) Also, have you ever taken psychedelics? I still have visual effects from a bad trip when I was 16 - I put this down to latent trauma surfacing and manifesting itself in this way.
I'm not reducing what you're going though, I'm just aware that other things can also generate what you're experiencing.
