Monotub fluid/puddles. Condensation issue.(?)

Mono tub has been in complete darkness for 8 days. Pulled it out to get a look and noticed almost complete colonization on top. Heavy condensation on lid of tub and sides. Droplets appear on some of the spawn. I've heard that lots of condensation is okay, standing puddles on the spawn is not a good thing. Should I use a syringe to suck the puddles up? Also, yellowish puddle in the corner. How concerning is that?
Figured I'll start the fruiting process this weekend. (One last question): any pros/cons to 12/12 schedule? I've heard of both 12/12 and just full 24hr light cycles. What the difference?
Thanks for the help in advance.

Cubensis substrates should never be in complete darkness. Information suggesting colonization/incubation in the dark is 20 years outdated.

Bacterial infection, or water from. The sides is absorbing the color from the coir/substrate. Just mop it up

My own. If I can be honest for a moment, I was too lazy and excited to get things going. I didn't have a 1" bit so I used a ⅝" instead and drilled a few more holes to compensate. Tub is 12" tall and holes are 9" from bottom of tub. Substrate is 2.5" thick.

NakedRat says to mop. What works for you? And looking at other tubs, wondering if I should start fruiting or wait a few days longer....

I've seen a few of your videos. I've bookmarked the 'flowchart' page so I know where to start looking. There is a TON of info there. Almost overwhelming!

some people fruit right away at spawning. you could fruit that tub. I wouldn't mop myself I would tilt that tub and try to disperse that puddle around more

Too late. I soaked up as much as I could using paper towel dipped into the puddles. Also wiped most of condensation off lid, walls. I can see where water has run down the side of my substrate and has saturated it. I'm nervous that'll be a problem. I'm good to fruit. But looking at some other pics, my tub isn't completely colonized yet. IYO, would you fruit what is here based on these events? Or let this tub go another few days?

Updated photos. These are 24hrs after those posted above. There certainly appears to be more growth. It just looks whiter. Like the mycilium is spreading. I've brought them out into the 'ambient light' albeit a lower light room. The yellow liquid is thin, like water and pools more on the sides than on the top. When I remove the top, it just smells like fresh picked mushrooms. I think I'm going to move forward into next phase unless anyone sees why not to. Let me know your thoughts.

I have a 4' 6 tube CFL grow light I use to keep lemon trees growing in the winter up here. I think I can use that, does that seem feasible? Three bulbs are at 5500k and three are at 6500k.
As with FAE, dare I leave the lid partially open? Leave a small fan going in the opposite corner of the room? Or just open the tub and manually fan it 5 times a day?
