GT Day 3 after spawning. I had a little extra 50/50+ that I cased with. Figured what the hell. I noticed with my PE that the casing helps with the twist and pull method and not pulling up globs of substrate. Fruiting conditions at spawn

Can you explain why you added coir to your grains? I can't understand it. I'm sure a ton of other noobs won't either when they see it.

Who cares what noobs see. Not everyone is required to teach noobs here. If he wants to add do it he can do it without thinking of the noobs. People can grow How they wanna grow without constantly having to think of noobs
I've seen people do all In one bags with sub and grain. Maybe he's doing that? Maybe he just wants coir in his grains.

No I agree there, I personally wanted to know the logic behind it. I think it's cool, and I'm curious to how it turns out. Just wanted to know his reasons for doing so. I assumed it was something of the sorts of hams spice tek.

Just to piss Bod off...
Seriously though. I'm giving the mycelium a first flush jumpstart on producing the oxidase, enzymes, etc, that it will need to digest lignin.
Without it, on the first flush you're basically just fruiting grain. The mycelium hasn't had time to develop the tools (enzymes, etc) necessary to draw nutrients from lignin.

That's all I wanted to know. I don't know anything about how myc works. I just follow the teks, and pray I'm doing it right lol That's kinda cool that it works like that. Know I wanna see the first flush haha
