NASHVILLE, TN -- A 39-year-old Nashville man used encrypted communications as part of an international scheme to illegally import methylone and ethylone, a synthetic version of MDMA, or ecstasy, known as molly, from China, according to a federal indictment.
The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Tennessee says Terrence Deon Reames obtained or tried to obtain more 100 kilograms of molly and distribute the drug in the Nashville area along with five others.
Federal prosecutors say Reames used encrypted communications to communicate with his Chinese contact, who would then ship the drug to Nashville and Riverdale, Ga., using the United States Postal Service and private carriers.
The indictment alleges Reames arranged a wire transfer of $300,000 to a Chinese bank to pay for the drugs. He was arrested Friday.
He faces up to 20 years in prison if he is convicted.

Gets what he deserves with that kind of cheese , he could have made real legal investments and not a bunch of fake molly.

Have a buddy who's serving 10 years for something similar. Far less weight though. It was his first offense too.

Havent heard about bk-mdma for a few years, kinda happy about that. Supply has been clean, mostly just pure md
Crazy how they dont even charge it as mdma analog even, its "molly" plain and simple. Jeez, courts are using simplified street slang and interchanging substances? Because, this is not MDMA and id say not really even that close. Ethylone especially isnt a true analog Based on the two criteria. 1) does it substitute fully for mdma 2) chemically is it extremely similar. It fulfills just the chemical component if you ask me. 6-APB is more like a true analog IMO

I loved methylone. So did a lot of people I know. Most preferred it over MDMA. It did suck how many people were passing it off as MDMA though. I'd tell dealers that what they had was not true mdma and they would just state "i don't know what your talking about bro. This fire molly"

^BTW it looked grainy and white usually and you could tell just by looking usually, most of the real MD in my area has always been crystalline (though i know its possible to have methylone crystal)
I always thought Methylone was Mehh and i HATED methylone being sold as md all the time. There was still some around but youd have to really find a good source and stick with it
And all these people selling like 100mg for 20 bucks when you could just order it yourself for like, a gram for $50 with very little risk etc (at that time)
But the worst thing about Methylone was that it destroyed the mdma market.
I actually do think RCs are great if you know what youre taking and how much. That is: its fine to take 1P-LSD, or DOC, whatever, or 4-ho-mipt, but its not really cool when the 1p is being sold as LSD blotter (whether you ever find out or not) or 4-ho-mipt is said to be psilocin, and hey, feels like it.
Thats the downside of RCs IMO. But its really the fault of people, both who dont give novel chems a chance so that someone would need to say "this is pure psilocin!" To catch your interest, and the Pihkal mipt entry isnt worth reading, etc.

Apparently the wholesale price of methylone is $3k a kilo or about $3 a gram delivered to usa.
