Well... If everything goes right, yes. When I think about owning my own FH, I always fear getting sick and puking in front of it, or the cats or my son getting to it and wreaking havoc. That would be a day to be left alone with a big bag o weed :lol:

You can run two HEPAs filters side by side with one blower to make a bigger overall area. I've seen it done many times in many real labs

Hey Bod, suppose your HEPA got dirt on it, say, a mate tossed a beer all over it, even though he's not supposed to be anywhere near it. Is there a way to save it? Just so I have an idea how locked away this thing will have to be once I make myself one...

Dont spill beer on it :shrug:

A flow hood should be in its own special room anyway. One that has hard cleanable surfaces. No carpet.
In most residential places a flowhood makes no sense IMO

Wow really? shit.
Still, all my wood is pre-cut so i cant use it, still will build one and see how it goes.

Whats the spacing allowed to be between the two filters?

I'd think you would mount them as tightly together as possible, maybe with just a strip of silicone in between to make it airtight. You could still use the sides of the woodwork..
