fruiting a bunch of ps mex gal projects, oddly enough the straight grain cased fruited the best!! the 66qt still has lots of pins coming in though

really happy with how this turned out, tested a bunch of cultures and got a culture that makes stones (in like 1 week!!!) and glad to see that one fruited well too..  this was my first time fruiting mexicana . the main goal was to try to find some good clones and stock up on some prints for trades and giveaways

c10, I've been looking for a stone producer.
I don't have anything super interesting at the moment but, could I interest you in a PE swab for a print?
That is if you don't have any already.

For the past few days I've been ignoring these 3 jars and only checking the first one of the set to finish colonizing, waiting for it to consolidate...

And away we go

Finally got some Ps. Azur spores to germinate.

I know it's late in the year to just now get a culture going on agar, so I'll just use a high spawn ratio.  They only need a few months outside to colonize, and it don't get cold enough to fruit them around here until late December, early Janurary.  I have been trying to get these, and some Ps Cyanescens spores to germinate for a few months.  It wasn't until I nocced a plate, wrapped it in parafilm, then packed it into a ziplock bag, and brought it out into the living room where it's been staying under and around 68F did the spores finally germinate.

I think so.  Your temps are right.  I'd project lots of waterings.  I'd even consider planting the patch somewhere where you could put a monotub over it as a humidity dome.  If your patch is going to be large, you'll have to get ingenuitive with the fabrication of a humidity dome.
