Steve. It's a solid read. Very good low tek and outdoor setups. A little light on lab skills. The section in the back about each species is very nice, offers some insights not in the other books.

They’re creeping along. It got really cold and windy and several caps cracked. I gave them a drink last night which they appear to have soaked right up....I’ll give them another tomorrow morning.

I'm thinking maybe some wood skewers and a loose bag over top might work. Would up humidity and co2 for some fatter stems?

Pretty much writing this batch offf. Weather supposed to go to shit for the season tomorrow and they kind of lost their allure when they turned out to be kings. I’ll put together an indoor run at some point.

How are you sure they're not actually nebro and are kings. When you google image nebros theres likely pics of kings there. But don't they look almost identical to each other?
I mean i wouldn't be surprised. Vendors have no good reason to be correct. Just look at how psilocybin species are marketed

Throw them in your fruit chamber and finish then. There still should be a nice crop.
Bod- nebro are called the white elf. They should be almost snow white .

There's only one vendor in the US i know of fresh abalone mushrooms and they are very distinct looking from regular kings.

Reishi are looking good. Definitely could have used more spawn but they still have 20 days or so left. Love these things!

Here’s that first flush. Gonna make hongos en chipotle. You can make out the faintest hint of anise from the freshly cut flesh.
