Yeah bod, i meant i start the 10 min steam vent once the safety pops up, then once the pressure builds and the rocker starts goin i drop the temp so its just rocking and start the timer for 2 hrs. I use pasty plates so its hard to get good pics without sterilizing my phone and going into the still airbox and taking the tops off.i hace 3 new clone plates that im sure arent perfectly clean im going to take a piece and transfer to clean plates today. Ill post some pics when that growth happens and I think they are clean

Okay I will post a picture it's really simple I just take some bubble wrap the kind with small bubbles and put it bubble side down right on top of the substrate I Used To Pieces kind of on top of each other so that way it goes from edge to edge wall to wall and then I don't even put a lid on it to allow a lot of fresh air in and it's still slows down evaporation because of the bubble wrap I remove it when I fan and then mist again and once every few days I will spray the bubble wrap down with rubbing alcohol and allow it to fully dry before putting it back on this also allows the top of the substrate to completely dry out a little bit at the moment both tubs are showing hyphal knots the tub without bubble wrap is looking a little bit Tanner on top whereas the tub with the bubble wrap is remaining a really healthy bright white I check on both tubs many times a day but I believe the tub without bubble wrap is due to evaporating at a faster rate the tub with the bubble wrap also is showing a couple small pins just beginning and the one without has not started to pin yet both tubs are the same variety and were spawned at the exact same time with the exact same conditions

So another update on this, both tubs are showing their first pins, without bubblewrap has maybe 2 or 3 that are towards the edges, maybe 1/4 inch tall, the bubble wrap one DOES have a couple side pins still but has 4 or 5 1/4 inch pins in the middle and maybe 50 small pins covering the whole top. The bubble wrap does seem to be doing something, its not preventing the sidepins unfortunately, but it seems to be causing a reeeeeeallly nice pinset. We will have to see what matures from here

Alright so after keeping a close eye on everything i have come to the same conclusion that others must have. Bubblewrap does nothing if you are already providing a fairly decent environment. I use unmodified tubs, and mist and fan probably 6 to 10 times a day. Both tubs are pinning and i might even go as far as to say the tub without bubblewrap looks better. I think the excess moisture held onto the surface by the bubblewrap may have prevented pins actually
