I've not heard of this particular virus, but no, it doesn't sound like you're infected. There's no way a worm can use your e-mail without infecting your computer. And, AVG is a pretty good AV, so you should be safe. Hope that helps!

Eek! Hopefully it didn't get to phone out... But yes, AVG updates quite frequently, and it's very important to get them. You might also want to consider a good firewall for extra protection.

I'm having a hard time with viruses as well. Besides Bazooka and AVG I would also recommend You to download Ad-aware 6.0 (trojan&spyware hunter ) and AntiVir Personal Edition (it's always good to have more than one AV program on your computer ). They are both free and pretty valuable.. Happy hunting! P.s. Maybe somebody can help me with some advice how to get rid of Lovsan.A (a real pain in the ass ). One guy in the chat gave me a good link about the removal of Lovsan.A. But I have a problem with installing WinXP SP1 (You see - i never bought Windows). Any ideas?

Do you have system restore enabled on XP? You can find it by right-clicking on 'my computer' and choosing the 'system restore' tab. Sometimes when it's enabled, it will restore virus files that were deleted prior to restarting the system.
-------------------- The above is an extract from my fictional novel, "The random postings of Edame". In the beginning was the word. And man could not handle the word, and the hearing of the word, and he asked God to take away his ears so that he might live in peace without having to hear words which might upset his equinamity or corrupt the unblemished purity of his conscience. And God, hearing this desperate plea from His creation, wrinkled His mighty brow for a moment and then leaned down toward man, beckoning that he should come close so as to hear all that was about to be revealed to him. "Fuck you," He whispered, and frowned upon the pathetic supplicant before retreating to His heavens.

Keenval is an adware program that redirects the browser to portal sites, which may download more adware.
Think link should give you all the info you need to remove it:

People, many of you understand the werule virus is pup.exe, ok follow these steps to remove it.
1.) Start Button (Desktop)> Run > Type "regedit" > You Will Now Be In The System Registry, Step One Compltete.
2.) Look in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE And, wait one second got to go :o will finish steps later
