I'm still somewhat of a beginner at tripping and have tripped three times. My first experience was by far the best and started in the mornng time and ended at around 2 i think. That time i had eaten P. Baeocystis and P. Cyanescens (I think I spelled those right). But yeah the next two times I had eaten P. Azurescens, the third time a really high dose; how much I dont remember but I know it was a LOT. And so the first time was the most intense for me and I just want to know if it has to do with the fact that the first time I had eaten them i the day and the other time at night or is it just the species I ate?

It's either the species or the amount, which you failed to mention. Tripping in the day is fun, but I usually don't unless it's somewhat cloudy outside. That or not hot. Dosing at 10 and staying up until dawn is where it's at.

Read this. It is about night vs. day tripping and has links to many other posts of the same nature.

wow..i think i've only tripped once during the day. maybe once, but i guess if you can barely remember it then it's time to do it again. gotta put that on the list of things to do. never really thought about it, i usually just eat around the evening time.

Daytime tripping visuals are awesome.. so much color, sunlight's saturation is so different from artificial light. I can't wait til spring, me and my friends are all gonna take 2g each of these really strong cubes we got ahold of, then go into the woods with acoustic guitars, water, and pot.

i like tripping at night personally. i like to dose really late when everyone is asleep. it's just me, my mind, and the nocturnal creatures that run amonst me. the outdoors are so quiet. the stars are out and the sky has a slight electricness to it. perfect for meditation. also, witnessing the sunrise after an amazing night on mushrooms is truely magical.

I prefer the night. I've alwyas been a night person and feel more alive and at one during the night. I jsut happen to relate more with it. I've only tripped at night and I find it amazing to just go outside on a beautiful night look at the stars and see the trees wave back and forth against a black backround.

I like the nighttime... I've never actually tripped during daylight hours but I would assume it would be very uncomfortable to me, as when i am tripping my eyes dilate so much that just about any light burns the retina... lol once I was tripping on about 3 grams and I was trying to have a conversation with someone online, but the monitor was hurting my eyes it was so bright so I turned the brightness down to like 15 and it was so so dark but just perfect for me at that time. When I got up in the morning the screen looked almost black, lol. But yeah... judging by how much light hurts my eyes during a good trip I dont think I could handle being out in the sun...

I have not tripped during true daylight hours (dosing when the sun is setting and coming up at dusk is nice though ), but the nighttime trips I've had have been quite nice. If you can find a garden I would suggest trying it out sometime. One of my favorite trips was spent hanging out in a half-acre garden in the wee hours of the morning. I don't mean a vegitable garden, but one you walk around in. You know, stone walkways, fountains, exotic plants, trippy shadows, and strange artifacts dispersed throughout.
This garden had some decorative metal spheres that captivated me for half an hour getting my hand almost close enough to touch and then slowly moving it back away again.

@ Night
- leaves more to the imagination. Like you stare for 30 minutes at a blanket, thinking it's some kind of undiscovered desert - sober, non-tripping people tend to sleep at night; less noise, more silence. (nothing more annoying than lots of people having conversations on money/clothes/cars/weather while you're tripping balls) - when you got done tripping; chances are that you feel like you've just ran 100 miles; so sleeping won't be difficult.
