wild birdseed question
    #2436796 - 03/15/04 10:33 PM (14 years, 2 months ago)

i just picked up some stokes brand "wild bird food select". the ingredients listed are milo, millet, cracked corn, and sunflower. i can get the sunflower seeds out no problem, but will the milo or cracked corn cause a problem?

what are some specific brands/types of wbs that you have used with success?

heh...i should probably just return the stokes and get some pennington's as that seems to be widely used. i just hate walmart. bleh. eheh.

TIA.

Nope! The Milo and Cracked corn wont hurt. Their found in most types of bird seed thats used for substrate.

the 6t tek looks very easy, thanks for the tip.

one more question. the wbs i bought was $5 for 10 lbs. would that be considered "expensive" for birdseed? (since expensive wbs can have fungicides). would the packaging indicate the presence of fungicides?
