Proper use of syringes with separate needles?

My foaf has recently changed spore vendors, as his old one quit the biz at some point. Unlike the old vendor, the new one ships syringes with needles included but not attached - what is a good procedure for getting this needle on without contaminating the syringe?

wipe the end with alcohol and allow to air dry for a few seconds, open the needle and while holding the cover screw it on

is it plastic mating with plastic (common) or metal to plastic (rarer) if its the first one do it like priz says, if its metal to plastic and you dont plan on changing the needle out in the future heat the metal up real good and screw it on. itll melt the plastic and stick nicely.. you wont be able to get it off though so dont think of this unless ur keepin it on for good

This is good, but what I'm more concerned about is the syringe itself. It comes with a little plastic stopper on where the needle will go, and after removing that the liquid inside will apparently be exposed to air for a few seconds.

I've only got 1 needle and two syringes. I've changed back and forth a few times with no issues using just a little isopropyl or ethyl wipe.

hmm that may be a bitch.. jus curious who is the vendor because thats a bad idea..

best way would be a glovebox, if that doesnt work then i would bleach a counter and use an anti fungal air spray (lysol etc..) and clean the area your doing it in like a mother fucker. Then do it as quick as possible.. you should be ok. Still a bad way to sell syringes

I believe that when you open the syringe part, no air will be exposed as it is sealed until you attach the needle... otherwise shit would leak all over the place...

I had to give myself shots once to raise my white blood count for a stem cell donation and the syringes were like that... im sure if the syringe could have become contaminated, the dr would not have given them to me...

You'll be okay, no air will go in there unless these are some screwy kind of make shift syringes...
