Yep, I have the same one. I didn't get the container though. Just the plastic tube that connects to it.

They're so useful. Got mine when I got my dehydrator. Everything I got was used and cheap so I am grateful for it.

8 different Panellus!?!? Please share your results!!!!!
No, not Panellus, as in Panellus Stipticus. Panaeolus, as in Panaeolus Cyanescens. Not 8, either. 6. Sporeworks is having a sale on their Panaeolus syringes. 10.00$ off. So, I picked up all the varieties they had left. I'm sure I'll keep you posted. I want to start them all at the same time. There are so many irons in the fire, currently, though. It's going to be a few weeks before I can get to them.

Serious question re the AA 941...
I'm on my 3rd trial run trying to get a perfect seal with the lid. I used olive oil...the whole bit.. Theres a tiny pinhole size bit of steam that escapes from below one of the wingnuts...
Has anybody seen this before? Are they that fussy to get a good seal with?

Try vasoline and see if that helps seal better

No they aren't that fussy, make sure the lid is sitting flat look at the gap between the lid and pot near the wing nuts...
Olive oil works fine.
It doesn't have to seal tho trust me, but if it was a new unit id want it to seal for sure lol.
Perhaps it was warped from being exposed to heat with no water in the cooker? Or maybe it takes a few uses before the lid will sit perfectly I dunno never owned a new one myself

Thanks for the responses...The leak is teeny but it shouldn't be there...Everything looks fine in terms of even gap...IDK maybe 4th time is the charm. I loaded it this time...

make sure to tighten it like lug nuts on a wheel.

I like to get everything mildly firm in the star pattern, then go back and crank it down tight in the star pattern. If you go in a circle you can end up with one side tightened down lower than the other which can cause a small leak IME.

It will do that the first couple runs if it's brand new. As the metal seal sets a little more it will stop

Use a vac sealer as an impulse sealer you say? That works?

Yeah cause you'd have to seal it right on the top and have all that extra bag. At that point probably just rather use zip ties

That's how I impulse seal my bags. I just take the rubber seal off my vac sealer and it works perfectly as an impulse sealer. It's a little clumsy, but it works

This is indeed the way to go with a metal bolt-nut type seal
