yeah, I know, and I appreciate the thought and gesture, but at least my pressure gauge will allow me to run it for 2 hours straight with probably just 1 quart of water now, so that problem is fixed. I'm gonna love that!
Still lots of chances to get a big ass cooker. Flea market season has started again and the weather is now actually good enough, maybe do some of those... And if all else fails, I'll just get a new one from ebay one day. Kind of like the thought of giving PC's a second life though, and it's how I started out with this one as well. I feel giving appliances (and other stuff too for that matter) the most possible use is important because of ecological aspects.. I'd gift mine too if I ever stopped using it and it was still working..

needs: old syringe needle, about 18g regular sowing needle that fits inside medical needle torch angle grinder step 1, remove plunger rubber, put plunger back step 2, stick red hot needle through the connection port in the plunger. step 3, place plunger rubber back, over the needle. step 4, cut off hole of needle with cutting pliers. step 5, measure how far the needle will go into the other needle step 5, cut off medical needle with pliers, and grind off untill back open and right size. step 6, cut off top of syringe (leave the connection port of course) so you don't blow air in your plate. step 7, sterilize in the PC and use to extract mycelial tissue from severely contammed plates.

That is really fucking cool, would work a bit better than having water in the syringe to shoot the "biopsy" onto the new plate or in the LC.

My sentiments exactly... For an LC the water might work better, but Fuck that swimming pool on a plate..

Air Exchange Version 1.0 for gourmet fruiting chamber 6" 400 cfm fan mounted vertical for easy cleanout. Installed a damper for the incoming ducting so it could be adjusted easily. Air comes in from outside, mixes with existing air before blowing downward and out of the ducting I think it might work! We shall see

Looks like you need a drywall finisher before you paint your moisture mold resistant drywall.
