Hey GGreatone234,
Is there something I'm missing on finding these "Beautie's"?Is it possible for the field I go to,to not produce Copes?
Maybe I'm not looking hard enuf and then again maybe I'm looking too hard.I sure would like to find some though. How long does it usually take for them to turn blue and are they subject to more severe blueing than say cubes?

Usually when you find cow pies with only one ot two small shroom in it then they are gone until the next flush in abouit six weeks. When they come up they are plentiful on a dung heap. towards the end of the spawn run they become less and less abundant.

Check out the 21 day Cope tropicalis run posted at my site.

Thanks MJ.
Copes are about the size of a dime unless fully mature and then the specimens can be 1 - 1 1/2 inches across the cap- but usually small right?

Hey, I've been studying mushrooms, I just got to know to be clear. I've tried to get a bluish bruising, but it looks more like a dark grey. Is this the bluing?
