First fruiting, how's it look?
    #24333227 - 05/19/17 02:37 PM (6 years, 10 months ago)

Hello everyone, I just wanted to thank everyone here at the Shroomery for all of your advice. I couldn't have gotten this going without your help. This is my first fruiting and I'm pretty proud of the results so far. I'm amazed at how fast these sucker's grow.

Looks kinds like you have good humidity.
Try checking for dark pins as you may have too much humidity.

Nice find by the way.

Looking good...

Maybe it's just the picture, but I don't see any holes in your FC. How are you getting air flow/exchange? Just curious...

@ Gillaputty: Also, as I understood it (ala RR), humidity can never be too high. Please educate me if I'm wrong.

I was thinking of doing spawn bags so I can produce more. I figured this was a good place to start though. I'm doing some more research on bulk casing and am looking forward to doing more cultivation. This was hard enough for me physically though (disabled from falling off a seven story parking garage) which is the whole reason I'm growing...all natural pain killer w/ some euphoria. I'm on an overabundance amount of pain killer's, with little relief so I'm trying anything, everything.

Hey man sorry to hear about your injury, that must be really tough.
Mushrooms are not really a pain-killer, I mean they can take your mind off it at high enough doses.
The euphoria is mixed in with the overall trip, which is highly dependent on your mindset and the environment you're in, as well as what you'll be doing,
You have to find the dose that's right for you, I suggest starting with 2 grams dried and working your way up.

Thanks for your input.....I'm a pretty seasoned vet when it comes to eating shrooms. This is the first attempt at growing my own. Me and 2 other friends cleared and ate a 1/2 acre cow pasture...which had some serious caps. The pain goes away when you eat enough of them. I'll more than likely eat close to 1/2 - 3/4 of this harvest in one sitting...maybe more depending on how big the fruits are. Taking oneself out of your mind and the body will follow, said me just now. Lol Thanks again for your suggestion.
