No animosity shown between friends:justdontknow: Linares and Crolla before title bout aired on Showtime, this afternoon from Manchester Arena (challenger Crolla's hometown)!

That was the first time I've ever seen Linares fight. Dude got some real, real nice boxing skills.

So during that Linares fight, on the undercard, they had a chick by the name of Katie Taylor fighting. Showtime spent a good half hour talking about her while they watched clips from her fight that day.

Dude. I never thought I'd ever become a fan of a chick boxer...but damn. That girl got some skills. Apparently she's basically the female version of Lomachenko...one of the most highly decorated women's amateur boxers in the sport's history.

She has actual advanced boxing skill. She unleashes some really, really nice combinations. Attacks the body well. Good footwork.

I'm impressed

Niffla I just watched an Asian boxing match between a 169 pound guy and 600 plus pound guy. Don't know what kind of boxing it was. Something between Western boxing and UFC. I won't be a spoiler for what happened. Should be easy to find in a search.

I associate Linares coming up around the same time as another Venezuelan boxer, Edwin Valero who was the more explosive of the two but obviously he was extremely volatile outside the ring as well. (If you reading this don't know, he led a troubled life and tragically killed his wife and then hung himself at age 28.)

Lol sup buddy, it sure does feel like it sometimes

Here's the HBO special on it (Canelo/Chavez)

Joshua/Klitschko this Sat as well

Hey man if you ever need a boxing fix, here's a link to a boxing board that I frequent. Gets heavy traffic. I swear man boxing fans are truly fucking unique...lol...the board is made up of hardcore Stans of fighters who spend every waking moment seemingly of their lives dedicated to bashing any and every fighter that's deemed a threat to their guy, lmao. And it's a place where if a boxer loses or even wins but has a difficult time doing so then that fighter automatically becomes an exposed "bum"

Anyway if you take it with a grain of salt it's a good place to get a boxing fix. Watch out for the long line of trolls, though...

That Wlad/Joshua fight was incredible. Best HW fight in a long, long time. I thought Wlad had it when he floored Joshua...dude looked dead in the water. Wlad had his chance and that was it.

But that Joshua uppercut in the 11th...sheesh.

It'll be interesting to see how the size difference plays out. Chavez is clearly the bigger guy -- and by a pretty sizable margin.

But outside of that, it's really difficult seeing Chavez Jr. winning this fight, or even coming close to it. There are levels to this, and Canelo's just on another level than that of Chavez Jr. I'd be surprised if it's anything other than target practice for Canelo for the vast majority of the fight.

Chavez...lol.

Didn't win a single round on all three judge scorecards. That's 36 rounds total that were officially scored...and he lost every single one.

"Can Sammy Vasquez Turn Back a Dangerous Late Sub?
Vasquez, a U.S. Army veteran and undefeated rising contender, was slated to face veteran former welterweight titlist Luis Collazo on the undercard of Wilder's title defense against Chris Arreola on July 16. But an injury to Collazo forced him to withdraw from the fight and left Vasquez with a challenge that is both more enticing to the fans and possibly more dangerous to his future prospects. Felix Diaz, a 2008 Olympic gold medalist for the Dominican Republic, steps in as the late replacement, and, unlike most guys who take fights on this type of notice, is both a live dog and probably more dangerous than the previous opponent."

I tipped off this upset which lined up Diaz for a shot vs Terence Crawford this weekend.

And here is my new upcoming TV schedule! Watch Oscar's primo tomorrow night http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/19404129/diego-de-la-hoya-aims-continue-family-illustrious-boxing-legacy.

5-20 Crawford vs Diaz (HBO) Russell Jr. vs Escandon (Show)
5-27 Brook vs Spence Jr. (Show)

6-3 Stevenson vs Fonfara, E Alvarez vs Pascal(Show)
6-17 Ward vs Kovalev II, Rigondeaux vs Flores (PPV)
6-30 Easter Jr. vs Shafikov (Bounce)

7-1 Pacquiao vs Horn (PPV)
7-15 Berchelt vs Miura (HBO)

9-16 Golovkin vs S Alvarez(HBO PPV)

Sure if Floyd signs the fight but I will have to make a separate category for it.:smugjerry:
You're bound to hear a stream of people saying that McGregor has zero chance or zero percent chance. This is technically wrong. Zero percent chance is what the rest of us have, who won't be swinging for the fences at Floyd's grill.
