moricz, I look forward to seeing your results with this species. Your woodlover grows are inspirational
00Burnout, thanks mate. I'd love to see someone do a larger scale grow with this species.

I plan on getting a nice patch going outdoors for my own enjoyment, but I'll also be doing small indoor work to help get it domesticated. With any luck, I'll eventually get it to fruit at warmer temps.
I've got many projects going, and more starting soon, but I'll try to keep some focus on this species.

Well it won't happen till fall so I haven't fully planned it out, but I'll probably take the same approach as my cubensis bed I'm doing this year. This is my first time doing outdoor beds.
I'm going to dig a nice hole, throw a layer of mixed straw and manure in, add some grain spawn, add another sub layer, and repeat until the hole is filled. Then I'll cover with a thin layer of soil and a layer of straw. The top layer of straw will be more for protection of developing pins and to help maintain a microclimate.
I still have a little more research to do on outdoor cultivation, I just haven't had time because of all the species I've recently started.

Hey burnout. I also want to start an outdoor cube bed. Do you know when I should spawn in hardiness zone 5b?

Honestly, I have no clue. I'd wait until after the last frost and once night temps don't drop below the 50s. This is going to be my first time attempting outdoor cultivation, but lets not derail this thread. Go over to cultivation general discussion, there are plenty of members on that thread that will be able to answer any questions you have.

Unusual specimens from a 3rd flush. I'm guessing leucistic or albino. I'll have to see how they print.

I got clean growth after my first transfer from germination. I'll post pics when T2 grows out.
Nice mutants bob!

Good to hear mate I can't wait to see you fruit them. On second thoughts perhaps they're sterile or producing fewer spores. Typically their gills would darken with maturity.

Going to need some well wishes on this one. Temps aren't right but until I build one of those fruiting chambers like bob this is going to have to suffice.

I was hoping to get my culture clean and a tray in the gh before it got too warm, but that didn't happen. I might try throwing a tray in there anyway, and hope I get some genetics that don't mind bein in the mid 60s to low 70s.
Just gotta let my current plate grow out, and take a wedge for an lc.
