Second lot have been felled and bioassayed with the verdict being they're VERY potent when fresh or atleast comparable to Psilocybe Subaeruginosa. It will be great to see some reports from others who are cultivating them at present.

Goodluck with your experiments with this species myceliups I look forward to comparing results. Mine were grown from SA specimens I printed last season. Perhaps there are differences between populations of P.Alutacea in the wild.
Good to see you round SameMould . I miss your photography

Is it usually slow on grains? Slower then Ovoids?
Mine are so slow

Nice work Fishermansjc: stick around saralove did an epic Alutacea grow
Hey Moricz, I don't know about ovoids on grains. Pint jars take around 2 weeks to finish at 20-25c. The seed I use doesn't qualify as your typical WBS mix. It's more domestic in nature.

Another container fruiting underneath.
A monster pin in amongst the second flush
and another prolific flush underway. It looks like there could be more than the first flush.
 Updates to come.

aicaca, cheers. I've cased 8 small manure cakes to compare results against straight grains. Same sectors plus a couple untested. Mycelial Growth is very dense and fluffy on the manure mix but ofcourse also slower. Hopefully will have some fruits to show soon.
