YogaBrah said: But is taking shrooms, meditating, and opening th chakras/kundalini, the base of Hinduism and modern yoga? Yes it is. This is why Shiva and Shakti are the yogis gods. If you really wanna get into kundalini awakening, take a few days to look into Hindu mythology, and Buddhism as well. Kundalini is just a name given to awakening the self to getting in touch with hyperspace. It isnt "dangerous." Just remember to come back. Don't get lost out there. Fine line between enlightnment, and madness, if you arent ready for it.
Sorry, but can you point to a text that says something about shrooms being connected to the foundations of hinduism? I can understand that psychedelics have had their place in most anceint religions and spirituality, but i find your claims about shrooms's intrinsic connection to hinduism strange
Also, it would appear to me that most buddhist texts tend to ignore energetic awakenings and would even call kundalini a distraction, especially the zen tradition
Have you had direct experience with kundalini? If so, how has it taken form?
SOMA was probably shrooms or oral DMT.
Here's some shit about buddhism ]
Will watch video tonight. Seems good. Was reading the desciption and i legit lold cuz it says tadition continues in great secrecy, and i deleted my first for this reason. Mental Slavery kinda rubbed me the wrong way, and told myself "this is why you shouldnt give out this secret. If people wanna find it, they will. You try to explain stuff and they just swat it down without looking into it. Delete your posts. Keep it a secret." Lmao thats why i lold when reading description in video.
In Catholic churches they give the "Flesh of God." Original was a dried shroom cap. If you wanna get more in depth, the wine in the chalice, was originally an Amanita Muscaria that was in the final stages of its life where the cap turns upward. People would drink the morning dew on it, eat it, and hallucinate. Again, modern traditions are so far removed fom their origins. As Stanislav Grof said, if people at church saw someone having visions while on psychedelics, they would send this person to a mental institution bcause hes crazy as fuk, in their eyes. The funny thing is, they worship stories and written material inspired by these psychedelic visions lol. The irony.
Rick Strassman's new book "DMT and the Soul of Prophecy: A New Science of Spiritual Revelation in the Hebrew Bible" Talks about some interesting things. If you don't know who he is he was the the guy who did research on DMT in the 90's. I disagree with some of what he's saying but still interesting.

I go to both KY and buddhist meetings.
KY does nothing for me other than increased flexibility / agility and makes me feel alive, I don't feel any energy moving around etc. But what it DOES do for me is make my meditation aftwards amazing. 45 mins of movement then 10 mins of meditation and these are out of this world... it normally takes me 5 mins of breathe watching to get "in the zone" and after yoga it takes me about 10 seconds. Had a slight OOB experience of rising out of my body also.
Trouble is it gives me immense pain, I can do about 1 min of a kriya before I have to put my arms down :/
I would love to microdose and do it.
As for buddhist meetings it is more social but emphasis on group meditation for 45 mins... gets pretty deep sometimes but mostly I am done after 30 mins.
Again I would love to take shrooms and do this...

I don't feel that I was swatting it down. I feel I was being critical and questioning because based on my understanding of the religions, your claims seemed off. I was trying to understand your point of view and asked for citations. would u rather I just gobble up everything u say without questioning? I feel like I was being fairly reasonable.
I also am extremely disappointed with psychedelics. I consider them to be egotistical and fleeting, so I do try to separate religion from psychedelics in a way because I hope that there is more to religion than fucking shrooms. So there is a slight bias I will admit

i understand that psychedelics played a part in religion, I mean of course they did, but I feel that a lot of people who know much more about these religions would debate that half of your claims are even knowable. Especially the original "flesh of Christ" being a mushroom. I mean, there isn't a single religious experience in the bible that I couldn't have sober, idk why we have to place the psychedelics everywhere
I also don't think your depiction of Buddhism as a more boring version of Hinduism is fair in any way lol
Also, I gotta ask for the kundalini credentials, most people talking about it have never experienced it

Well you did base it off YOUR understanding without looking any further into it, and to be frank, your understanding of the origins of religion, seems to be quite limited. Im not preaching gospel, merely pointing out the origins. Im not the first person to claim what Im claiming. Some people have dedicated their lives to studying religion, and have claimed what I have stated.
"Fucking shrooms." Well there goes your first problem in understanding shrooms in religion. Cultures across the world have viewed shrooms and DMT as god, or at very least the medium between you and god.
Also quit with the "Kundalini credentials" crap. The more you type, the more I doubt youve had awakening, or "kundalini awakening."
