So, you people on the diet...what do you eat?
My roommate's on it and he's always looking for new ideas. He made a beef strogonough the other day that looked pretty good...
So how about it, some recipes STAT

It seems to me on the Atkins diet you may lose weight do to the low carb aspect but your cholest. and all of that would sky rocket. I may be wrong but...

But they're not punishing you, they're freeing your soul. A vegan diet is much much healthier than a meat based diet...

What you say is partially true.
But it's not really eating of certain fats, it's more of producing HDL's. HDL's (high densitiy lipoproteins) is what is considered "good fats" because it goes around and picks up on excess cholesterol in your adipocyte cells. And placed into cells which could more readily metabolize that stuff.
Atkins diet isn't healthy for anyone. Every human body works the same way (generally speaking) so just about everyone will sustain kidney and liver damage from the atkins diet.

I think the ultimate atkin friendly food would be pork rinds. Deep fried, crunchy and no carbs.

My mom is on the atkins diet. She has a half a lb ofb acon for breakfast along with 5-6 eggs, never exercizes, drinks the "Atkins shakes' all day long, and eats a sams club bucket of pork rinds every third day or so.
Does atkins diet make you lose weight ? Probably, but so does smoking crack, that doesn't mean that it's healthy.
