The gift that keeps on giving a few flushes
    #2198550 - 12/23/03 07:57 PM (20 years, 1 month ago)

So my buddy and I made our families the best gifts.  Straw logs with
P. ostratis.  They are all about two foot high.  I was wondering if any one knows how I should gift them to our fams. What would be a good way to Keep the humidity up?  Would something like dry cleaning bags work?  How should I tell them how to take care of it.  If any one could help me out with this it would be much abliged.

I've had good luck with putting my straw bags in larger bags, and leaving the big bags open at the top. Misting every once in a while wouldn't hurt, but I live where it is pretty humid. If you tie the big bags shut you will get some great looking antlers, but they don't cook up so well. :frown:

I did some elm oysters without any kind of enclosure at all.

They did great.
