I started gardening 3 years ago for this exact reason! I believe humans should know how to grow their own food, and that we are losing our connection to the land. I wanted to do it organically, without help from big-ag, without using chemicals linked to cancer and defects. It was one of the most eye-opening things in my life so far. I'm still learning so much! I saw my back yard regenerate, attract birds, butterflies, bees, dragonflies... I saw a new ecosystem start to bloom. Plus home grown food tastes so much better. I was surprised to see how much I grew on 64 sq/ft and I was almost always giving free food away. Truly this is the best way to feed, learn, heal, and regenerate the body, mind, and land!

Not at the moment. I'm at a weird spot in my life, jumping around a bit. I do have an organic rosemary plant that's doing beautifully....I just need to transplant her, she's way past due to getting out of her tiny pot.

If mushrooms count as garden plans then yes

--------------------
How to get started in bulk:
Presto 23-Quart Pressure Cooker
BOD's Simple as FUCK Still Air Box
PastyWhyte's Easy Agar Tek
Munchauzen's Cultivation Video Series
How EvilMushroom666 Prepares His Grains (I use jars with Synthetic Filter Discs)
What is G2G? (Grain-to-Grain)
Damion5050's Coir Tek (I use 5.5 - 6 quarts of water instead of 4. Also ignore step 13 and ignore the monotub completely. The only purpose of this tek is to show you how to make a simple substrate. I also add gypsum to it but not necessary)
Spitball's Monotub Tek (A liner isn't necessary but is useful)
Use 6500k lights throughout the whole process. When you wake up, turn the light on. When you go to sleep turn the light off. It's as simple as that.

I used mossy cottonwood logs as borders in a garden. When we double checked our oysters, any that didn't make the cut we're placed gill-side down on the logs to spore print and allowed to be destroyed by ants. That was about this time of year. By September there we're oysters comin up all around the garden

This is awesome. I love this initiative man. Fed up, fuck it. Take shit into my own hands. No point in sittin' around bitching and whinning about it.

Also this

YES! At least here anyway.

A farmer down the road from me has loads of goats. No fencing or anything. Free to roam anywhere. They seem to always stay in the yard which is contrary to what I hear about goats.

How are you doing so far this year?

Your list has grown a lot since you made this post!
I finally got back on here yesterday after quite a few years, and I wanted to see what kind of green things people were up to.
That's good stuff, man!

I'm getting my grow on hardcore this year as well. May your season be productive and fruitious!

Gonna start a meat rabbit herd as well

Sick of hearing people complain about big agroculture and not do anything about it. This project took very little effort and cost me very little. I get to enjoy organic pea shoots, wheat grass sprouts and onion leaks fresh everyday. That's incentive enough for me

 as my projects grow I'll bring em here

My rabbits are giving birth this week.
