Increasing Humidity
    #2430856 - 03/14/04 11:59 AM (12 years, 8 months ago)

AFOAF is using perlite for humidity in his terrarium, but his humidity guage says that it is only around 73% in the terrarium. The perlite is pretty wet, so he doesn't want to add too much water, but what other choices does he have? He has used perlite several times before and never had a problem getting the terrarium to the best humidity. I know the guages aren't overly accurate, but could it be off by this much?
Thanks folks.....

An air stone under the water/perlite will
help, what temps is the perlite/water
at? As raising temps will also raise humiderty.
