why wait for the shrooms to get big?

General people agree that immature shrooms are just as potent as big shrooms.
So why bother waiting for them to grow up? It just means you have to eat more...

Don't give me that load of bunk~!

generally people agree that smaller shrooms are MORE potent than overly mature ones, there is however, a happy medium. if you pluck everything while its really small, it maybe have more psylocin in it per unit of weight, that doesn't, however mean, that contains more total psylocin that that same mushroom might two days later. the bigger it is, the more its going to hold, obviously....up to a certain point. did that make sense?

egocentrism is bangin on the door
self-destructive selflessness
seeps out from the core
alone - eyes closed - an empty room
i'm curled on the floor
choose nothing, thus deciding
all the nothing i've in store.

I think you are comparing mushrooms individually instead of by mass. A small shroom may be more potent when you devide it's content by it's mass, but that doesn't mean one tiny shroom will make you trip as much as one big shroom. After the veil breaks it starts to become not worth growing much further as the mushroom gets bigger in size but stops making all the same chemicals (or so people generally agree)
It's best to pick when they are not too small, and not overly big-- but just right. Pick around the time when there veil starts to break.
