Publicly traded companies, banks and exchanges will bankrupt themselves 99% of the time if there are no consequences for doing so, because it's not their money they gamble with and they make out either way.

I ramped down my crypto/stock spending this month, iput $100 towards pslv/phys and I put $50 towards paxg
I might buy 10 or 15 xlm in a few days
I also put 200 into my savings account and put 75 into a free bank I use of splurge purchases or if I run out of budgeted money
I really need to ramp up my savings as I lent 1500 out which really put a dent in my emergency fund
After collecting all the monies I'm owed I'll have 2k in cash that can't touch my bank, thinking of putting down as a down payment to help my parents reshingle thier roof

Not for everyone, but I like Jesse Powell (founder of Kraken). A lengthy interview that focuses mostly on the rise and fall of FTX, but also reflects on Powell's principles, which in turn reflects upon my relative confidence in the Kraken exchange. Random fact, one of our oldest members here has been working at Kraken over the past few years as well. I do generally agree that Binance is better suited for active traders due to their relative depth of liquidity. But from a security standpoint, I think Kraken ranks is top shelf, not impervious by any means, but taking their business seriously and methodically.
