I rode bitcoins crazy ride down today. I only possess about 1/50th of a coin so my losses were minor
I did sell all of it earlier in the week right before it plunged $3k then I bought it all back and pocketed a cleaaaan $8. Lol.
I don't want it to crash crash, but at the same time, I would like 1 coin and I don't want to claw my way slowly to the top to get it.
One year ago it was like $3800 and I had $6000 in savings so naturally I hate myself
I have missed out on bitcoin three times. The first time, was when it came out and it was around $1, the 2nd time that it just hovered at $6k for a while, the time last year it was $3.8k.
Well, I see that bitcoin is not going to go away, and when the coins run dry, people will want coins
Thinking of starting some kind of side business where I only sell something online and accept bitcoin. Maybe make some art or something, not sure yet
But I am confident that it will reach $1million, probably by 2025.
So this time, I do not care if it costs me ~$65k to obtain one. It's worth it. Bitcoin is bound to just continue increasing, plus more and more companies are converting at least some of their assets to btc and buy and sell with btc, making the cryptocurrency less volatile, and once regular investors see that, they will also buy btc
I'm also just buying as much btc as u possibly can and converting as much worthless fiat to crypto as I possibly can.

Just make sure you leave yourself some emergency fiat. Crypto market WILL crash at some point, and if you don't have emergency cash + some to invest in the bear market, you're going to be kicking yourself again.

IMHO, the dump will be brisk, but the recovery (when there is one) will be slow as molasses running uphill through a pinhole in January. The DXY is rising and will continue to do so thanks to the spirited vaccination going on in the USA which is opening up our economy, as compared to the botch job across much, if not all of Europe.
Consequently, because there is a fairly tight inverse relationship between BTC and the DXY, it follows that any recovery will be stunted and slooooooowww. IMHO you'll have PLENTY of time to get back into crypto (weeks, if not months) once the dip occurs.

I just added 10% to my DOT on this dip. Will add another 10% if it dips to $25. As @trees said, buying in increments is the key

I was eyeing elongate, but on the chart I saw head and shoulders pattern with strong resistance to white flakes. I prefer to see breck girl, her TA could keep me going up for a while.

Short-term movements in financial instruments are mostly noise. Major market makers will tell you, if you gain their trust, of price movements being driven by someone needing to urinate urgently or wanting to spook the guy who said something inappropriate to someone's wife or just for sport. It's a fool's game to draw conclusions in most instances.
That being said, your countrymen's best efforts to refloat that sand-beached whale and get it to your country's largest port aren't going so well. Given that part of the world's importance and the place of time in finance, we are likely seeing stresses reverberate throughout the global financial system that will test many markets, including crypto.

Seeing some nice bounces here. I moved a little bit of ETH into 1INCH today, a DEX aggregator which is presently operating on both Ethereum and BSC. These guys seem to be active in their development, using a unique token burn strategy to save on gas costs, supporting their product on multiple layer 1 base chains, and providing a product that is simply useful to ecosystem participants. I like seeing the bounce today near the lower end of its 1 month consolidation range, the support zone on a fairly wide base, and presently discounted almost 40% from its all time high set Feb 5th. With a market cap of slightly more than half a billion, I think these guys have plenty of room to run, provided they maintain their development pace. Because token awards to developers vest over a period of four years and the project has already proven successful, I feel pretty good about this one.

It looks like your price target didn't hit. Might be a GOOD thing, as there is a chance BTC will see significantly lower price action on Friday. See article on options expiration set for tomorrow: https://www.coindesk.com/category/markets
Well it's pretty dang close now
For now my dreams of owning 2 BTC have been shattered but I'm real close. Someone here once said they'll always want to own one and have at least one to sell at some point. My game could change at any time but that's always sounded comforting to me. Still sitting on that buy order.
