I just watched a video of how to swap on pancake swap with bnb to buy safe moon and... I just don't think I can go through with it, buying an asset like this, for no logical reason other than I think it will go up because people are being idiots, I just don't think I can do it.

Didnt I read that you're cardiac surgeon? At 68 that's epic. You probably have another 30 years to go, could easily out live us all

Can you imagine if you panic sold bitcoin at $45K a couple weeks ago thinking the bull run was over
Was surprised to see it over 60K this morning, pretty epic. I thought it would be move sideways around 55K to 57K for longer. Looks like we are going to 75K in the next couple weeks, maybe a month.

Yep. Cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgeon. I retired a bunch of years ago when my partner and best friend died suddenly. Really hit me hard. I went to law school and now I fly a desk doing multi-hospital and physician risk management, quality assurance, policy making, etc. My wife is a general surgeon who specializes in laparoscopic general and laparoscopic bariatric surgery.

Doubt the market cap will grow that fast. I think 68k in a month is more plausible. We are gonna have a correction coming within a few days/week as people who bought in at 35k or below begin to take profits

Idk why anyone is panic selling btc at all. As if its not going to eventually hit a few hundred thousand dollars. It's not anywhere near the end of its life and fear of crash devaluation

Newbies to the crypto space have a bad habit of panic selling, as some come from the stocks world, and others have no idea how investments work, so any sort of correction over 8% leaves them shook.
For those of us who have been in the game for a while, a 20-65% correction is a normal Tuesday. For new people, its the end of the world.

I remember reading on reddit discussions back in January a lot of people were sharing that they've "jumped ship" at 30k and that they're "happy" with the money they got out if it and people were supporting them and "good for you" etc.
Now more often I see posts of those same people saying "fuck my life I sold out at 30k"

If you 2x or more your money I wouldn't feel bad about cashing out. Sure you could make more but piece of mind is worth more than regret

That's kind of my plan. I put some in i want it to double. Take my original investment out. And then everything in cryptocurrency is play money in a way.
I feel like I've made my risk zero at that point. Say i hodl too long and miss the ship sailing and lose everything. It will suck but not as bad as losing my savings

A lot of people panic sell . Especially when it drops over 10%. Nimpo said it best.
I don't think bitcoin hits $250K this cycle, by 2023 or 2024 definitely possible though.
There will probably be a long bear market once this cycle runs its course. Will be the best time to purchase more. Hardest part is knowing where to sell during this run up. Incremental sells are probably the best way to get close to selling at the top.

If we go by past cycles, this one is over by late September and possibly by January of 2022. This cycle is also very different than past cycles because of the fact that Big Money is now entering the market. This current cycle is actually ahead of the 2017-18 top. If we keep up this current pace, Bitcoin will end up over 300-400k.
