Yeah, I'd have a chance to be right if Elon Musk would stop his blatant market manipulation via twitter. Fucking twitter. Worst "invention" ever devised to give self-centered, self-promoting uber-rich, mentally deficient "influencers" a platform from which to effectively FUCK OVER every other human on the planet. God, how I hate that cocksucker.

Buying BTC right now, even from this drop of the ATH, is still super risky. Bitcoin was sub 20k back in December and nobody cared until it blew its top at the start of the year and FOMO hit the world.
That said, buying now is safer than buying at peak 60K pump. Personally, I see us bouncing between 28 to 40K for the next three months. Ballsy swing traders are going to have a field day during the summer. Those who are long are best to forget about this for a few months and come back on the fall pick up.

Selling at a loss is not a bad play if youve made profit elsewhere and want to offset the capital gains tax with the loss.

I think this is all just set up and playing out how manipulators want it to
Bottoming out right before a conference by big players on crypto?
C'mon...
Gained support right below musk's apparent buy in level.
I honestly think this is all just a trickery game.
I'd be cautious but this could insight a rally. Especially if people wake up and see crypto climbing and start fomoing in, add in the conference, if it gives positive pr, positive price action and positive news could be a catalyst for a small rally

Ouch, as soon as we broke out of the high/intermediate term ETH base that was carved out between $3K-$3.3K, your short should have been covered with a buy stop. That was one of the rare, relatively clear ranges and continuation signals that you'll come across from time to time, and the reason I levered up as soon as I saw it happening (despite having liquidated a tranche of ETH weeks prior at ~$3.1K).

Daily chart on ETH with an absolutely beautiful close to the candle, breaking out of the squeeze. I think this will have legs. Moved the rest of my personal/liquid ETH into ETH2X-FLI.

Let's roll.
SOL is just standout freakishly strong. Another offer of mine was hit today @ $145 for +1108%. I subsequently pulled another tranche of my staked SOL out of delegation, due to be released in a day and a half. Still have an offer floating on Raydium at $160. This thing has gone parabolic and I intend to keep selling incrementally, the whole way up, because history has taught me that moves of this velocity invariably come to an end with what is typically massive retracement after the final blowoff. Do I regret starting my sales down in the $60's? Not one bit. Although lamenting is a very common trap, if you plan your trade and trade your plan, you will begin to see the folly of regretting "what could have been". There is ALWAYS money left on the table, no matter what. Spending your emotional energy mired in rearward facing frustration will only make it harder to focus on the opportunities that lay ahead. Because I planned my trade (i.e. incremental sales on the way up) and traded my plan, I take comfort in knowing that my plan is working. To date, approximately 45% of my SOL has been liquidated between $64.25 and $145/SOL, for an average gain of 703%.

Also worth noting that FTX raised another $420MM bringing their aggregate valuation to $25B. These guys move fast, with talent and are well connected to heavy hitters in traditional finance/venture capital. The icing on the cake is that they have also put a lot of effort into promoting and building out the Solana ecosystem, such as their Serum dex protocol, which ironically competes with FTX's flagship centralized exchange, but that's why FTX and its front man Sam Bankman Fried is so flippin' smart -- they'll burn the candle at both ends. Reference back the trilogy of articles I posted here some time ago, when SOL (and FTX) were much, much cheaper.

Yeah doge is almost like a stable coin now. No matter how much Mark Cuban and Elon talk big it hovers around .25. Sold the last of it a long time ago after it ran out of steam. Shib has a lifespan as well but I'd love to see it hit a penny first.
I'm pretty much out of the buying game. Just waiting for ETH to hit 4490 and XTZ @ $8-$9. At that point I should be at least 60% fiat I want to blow on the Florida house.

I dont normally buy any shitcoins besides $Whackd. Its also based on the show and the roadmap claims they are making a game that utilizes it and that they are gonna give money to squids or something

I hope its the same gimmick as SQUID which just finished its rugpull with a brilliant no sell mechanic. Price went from 1k+ to 99 cents in like 10 minutes

Ah yeah, I did notice a popup notification in Metamask about that earlier today (after I had already worked it out myself). I didn't realize that Firefox was unfazed. The LedgerLive workaround is fairly seamless, once you have everything up to date... I think it was the pending firmware update on my Ledger device that was resulting in my problem.
Incidentally, my SOL sale @ $237.50 fired. I also ended up cancelling the offer @ $254, instead opting to sell a little bit more right here @ $241, and put another couple offers out @ $264 and $299. I think that it is smart to begin positioning yourself for potential discounts ahead, however I would also be mindful not to move too aggressively. With BTC and ETH holding rather strong near their ATH's, I would expect any giveback to be relatively short-lived. The charts also read possible that we can see another +30% on the majors before year end.
Time will tell, hence why it's almost always advantageous to move incrementally as we extend in either direction. For my part, I have had an absolutely banner year. When the shine is bright enough to blind you, it's generally time to seriously consider repositioning if you haven't already been doing so along the way.
My primary trading account is up over 2000% in the last year, and almost 9000% over its trough nearly two years ago.
The icing on the cake is the MtGox civil rehabilitation plan receiving 99% of creditors (80%+ of creditor value) voting in favor of proceeding with the planned distribution last month. The money I wired over to Japan in 2013/2014 is slated to return +4000%, after accounting for the loss of 80% of the estate's assets! My aggregate returns across all accounts, over the entirety of my crypto investing tenure is averaging something north of +7000%.

I was looking at all my earlier transactions this year and looks like I picked up some ETH during a drunken blackout.

The power of hodling. Crazy seeing how far ETH has come since. I need to do some more drunk buying. I bought SOL cause of you guys while drunk as hell too after seeing it getting plugged a lot.
You guys think the bullrun is ending sometime in 2022, or pushing into 2033?

It's truly a case of being a victim of its own success. There is only so much throughput available on the network as presently constructed, and people want to use it so badly that they are willing to pay the price. Fortunately, most of the people using and building out the system have been involved for a while, and thus likely have accumulated a large amount of personal wealth from ETH, thereby making them more able to tolerate the "grin and bear it" approach while we await the rollout of ETH 2.0's Proof of Stake system, which should have a fee reduction effect in 2022. It is a tough pill to swallow however, and is one of the reasons other layer 1 networks like SOL, BSC, FTM, AVAX and LUNA are having a field day drawing users who are fed up with the high fees on ETH (as well as supporting Ethereum layer 2 solutions such as Polygon/Matic, Arbitrum, Optimistic, et al, which allow for many ETH-esque executions at a fraction of the cost since they don't require paying fees on the main network to operate).
Speaking of all that growth, it's a very good morning in crypto. ETH continuing to channel higher in a very steep slope. When I moved into the leveraged ETH2X-FLI contract last August while ETH was basing just above $3000, my initial target was a measured move just north of $5K. We are approaching that level rather quickly, and while I am in no rush to shut down that trade, I am mindful that my primary target is close, and thus will be watching for signs of faltering in the aggregate trend, at which point I will start scaling back on ETH2X-FLI and back into plain vanilla ETH, as well as possibly allocating a portion into a stablecoin, depending on the velocity of things as they unfold.
But for now, the trend is my friend, and it is just very confidently cruising higher.
