Oddly enough, I would contend that the graphic above should depict the Fed, Inflation and Delta allowing the Portfolio to crowdsurf to new heights. Just pull up long term charts of crypto or the SPY... they are, by and large, pretty flippin' high, and have accelerated to the upside ever since COVID reared its head and caused the initial reactionary selloff. If we experience continued coronavirus related economic fallout due to various associated restrictions, that will entail continued federal support, which will ultimately feed into continued above-average inflation metrics and an accelerated devaluation of fiat currencies. Delta is far from stomping out a portfolio, on the contrary, there is in my view, a distinct correlation with increased virus ramifications feeding into rampant governmental support programs which are supported through, you guessed it, stimulus in collusion with the Federal Reserve to keep rates low and support increasing debt loads. I mean fucking hell, I don't want to see this virus continue plaguing our experience as humans, but the writing is on the wall...
Now for a technical price review... focusing on BTC here, because as BTC goes, so does the cryosphere in aggregate.
The charts are beginning to rebuild confidence, but as is so often the case, people will get overly enthusiastic. Unless you are a total sidelined sellout, I would simply recommend caution with respect to adding to positions at this level. We are still technically at the top of the box, and as the BTC chart indicates, there is a primary downtrending line (connecting the all time high with the May highs and now the late July/early August highs we are amidst) that still stands as resistance. On a break above that line, I would want to see a successful pullback/bounce at ~$40K, although I would settle for a successful test of the downward sloping line at a lower level, so long as it was tested within August (which could fudge as deep as ~$35K).

RSI has about half left to go upwards before it has to be forced down again, upper regression band is beyond 100k now, wont be surprised to see BTC pass 60k in the next couple weeks, then might have a spastic rally to a new ATH. 100k at this point would be the same level of extreme as 60k was back then, making even higher than 100k the expectation, somewhere around 200k probably is what will be expected for the top of the bull run. Maybe we do hit 100k before toppleing again to another bear period before possibly getting up to that 200k+ holy grail, is what i think to be likely.
All signs point towards a continuation of gains for now, but we'll see. Happy either way

also, in the timespan from 2008 to today (which would be the livespan of bitcoin), the BTC network has been compromised less then VISA, Mastercard, or any banks. BTC may not be able to process the transactions per second of VISA, but other blockchains can. In fact ONE and Polkadot both can increase by an order of magnitude or two. And then with a blockchain you don't need ot wait "business days" to get money. The current "digital" moneytary infrastructure is quite illisitory as it isn't self-secure
I agree that the technology has utility, I just don't think it's a necessarily wise investment, especially at the moment. I've held various cryptos, but I believe the risk outweighs the reward today.
I'm still _supportive_ of decentralizing the banking system and throwing away the legacy system, but that doesn't require investment. I'll likely reconsider in say 2022-2023 when the hypes died down enough.
Yea but dude

Daily chart on ETH with an absolutely beautiful close to the candle, breaking out of the squeeze. I think this will have legs. Moved the rest of my personal/liquid ETH into ETH2X-FLI.

Let's roll.

I made some pretty nifty NFTs and that shit didn't sell worth a fuck. I'm convinced that all the NFTs you hear about selling for lots of money is just money laundering. Maybe I just don't know how to make a good NFT.
Here are low quality versions of some of the NFTs I made:

Been surprised to see ETH gain any momentum at all considering its tokens can barely be moved around at all, it costs too much even move it off an exchange
MTV is my SOL substitute right now, still kicking myself though

Ouch, as soon as we broke out of the high/intermediate term ETH base that was carved out between $3K-$3.3K, your short should have been covered with a buy stop. That was one of the rare, relatively clear ranges and continuation signals that you'll come across from time to time, and the reason I levered up as soon as I saw it happening (despite having liquidated a tranche of ETH weeks prior at ~$3.1K).

SOL is just standout freakishly strong. Another offer of mine was hit today @ $145 for +1108%. I subsequently pulled another tranche of my staked SOL out of delegation, due to be released in a day and a half. Still have an offer floating on Raydium at $160. This thing has gone parabolic and I intend to keep selling incrementally, the whole way up, because history has taught me that moves of this velocity invariably come to an end with what is typically massive retracement after the final blowoff. Do I regret starting my sales down in the $60's? Not one bit. Although lamenting is a very common trap, if you plan your trade and trade your plan, you will begin to see the folly of regretting "what could have been". There is ALWAYS money left on the table, no matter what. Spending your emotional energy mired in rearward facing frustration will only make it harder to focus on the opportunities that lay ahead. Because I planned my trade (i.e. incremental sales on the way up) and traded my plan, I take comfort in knowing that my plan is working. To date, approximately 45% of my SOL has been liquidated between $64.25 and $145/SOL, for an average gain of 703%.

You guys have funny crypto strategies. I dont ever leave random buy / sell orders bc i wont know where the RSI is if im not there to see it. I usw price alarms and make decosions based on where the RSI and BTC is in that moment after alarm rings
Cardano just got smaht contracts so its officially no longer soley a hype chain.
Harmony jusy hit its previous closed ATH, top ready to pop to new price discovery
