I haven't had a problem with any besides Kraken.

I haven't looked into those coins at all. Do they even have a function? Are they supposed to be linked with the legal cannabis industry? Or were they just a creation of a stoner giggling to themselves?

There's always a hole it's either they don't hold the coins, you can't order from us , you can't order the coins if you're new , you need to upload id and a bunch of other shit I don't want them having, or they're just really slow and confusing.

Ripple is on a run. Up to about .70c now. Think it'll hit a dollar?

Right after I acquired some Ether, it increased by about half
The 16 crypto basket took an uptick, now at +25% over investment.
Big 5 are higher.
Picked up a bit of extra NEO and Stratis.

AVT DATA EDO EOS ETP IOTA OMG QASH SAN XRP YYW
I bought them all yesterday...and low and behold...they're all up
Except IOTA....
I've got my eyes on Ripple (XRP)...

I have pretty much always been with them, since I got into the LTC mining game a few years back. I kept my funds as BTC in my personal wallet, so wasn't affected by the hack last year, but I have been hearing other people say I should stay away from them.
The negative news flow on Bitfinex is pervasive these days... whether or not you can use their platform successfully, I wouldn't want to support them out of principle.

Apparently people just edited stuff to make it look like they were being added to coinbase I don't have an exact source but on here you can see that the CEO hasn't released that info. https://bitcoinist.com/altcoins-coming-coinbase-says-ceo-brian-armstrong/

I had some iota with binance but ended up trading it. I mean it just didn't sit right with me that the withdrawals were seemingly always blocked for it on binance. Plus I've heard some not so great things about iota recently.
I hear ethereum and dash are going to be the next ones to skyrocket.
All this is overwhelming and I'm surprised how much I was able to accomplish and learn from scratch in just a week. Turned $1200 to $2100 in 5 days.
Taxes and cashing out are big concerns of mine. Sort of a mystery and I've heard so much conflicting information.
Anyone have anything to recommend far as reading, watching, following? Especially in regards to strategy and like general investment basics. That's gonna be a lot more valuable i think than listening to another crypto bro douche on youtube

You did very well, mush. You put real money into it and got a real return. As for strategy, I dunno, its kind of the wild west and just do best you can. Taxes only have to be paid when the cash shows in your bank account. Or in your account at one of those places that report all the time to uncle sam like coinbase.

I was just lucky, i could have/should have made more. You know if I actually knew what I was doing. Mostly should have just let it all sit in litecoin like I had originally intended. I think I put in the perfect amount of money for a new comer.
Enough to play around with and spread out. Binance was pretty intimidating to me at first but now I can actually understand the charts quite a bit more.
Coinbase is a bank right? So you actually can get taxed for what you have in coin or in usd/their vault or whatever? I would think youd only get taxed for what you send to your bank account but I'm a complete stooge when it comes to financial matters.
Anyone play around with exodus? It's extremely simple to use, very user friendly but I get the feeling you get ripped a bit on exchanges because it doesn't seem like it can keep up with the constant price fluctuations.
