About a week ago I got a basket of 16 cryptocurrencies, each of them I invested in with a token sum, my secondary basket.
That one is up 19+% OVER BREAK EVEN, so in addition to overcoming buy/sell discrepancy.
One week.
I feel like I've adopted a crack dealer LOL, 19% in 1 week?!

I'm trading mostly on a smaller exchange, less likely to be targeted by hackers than a really big one like Bittrex.
I'm not sure I should namedrop anything because, well, this is the public internet. If anything becomes genuinely valuable, less savory types will be on the prowl as to who has what and trades where.
I obsessed for a few days, literally dawn to dusk research, that works best with my personality structure, and I decided to put a token sum into 16 currencies and I have 4 more that I invest more extensively in.
I seek to ultimately invest into 32 currencies but I;m in no hurry to expand, quality is most important.
Why 32 currencies?
Doublings,
If a token sum undergoes 5 doublings, it arrives at 32x its original size.
I fully expect one of the 32 most prominent currencies to undergo 5 doublings, in which case it pays for the entire portfolio, and any gains by any of the others are pure profit.
I included some very low key ones too, that to me seem to have potential to break out in the long term.
I especially like penny & dollar cryptos, the ones <$10 now, that show signs of viability.
Prominent coins I have high hopes for are Neo, Ether and Bitcoin. A virtual unknown I believe in is Stratis.

About my peculiar strategy of a basket of currecies:
If you plant 32 fields with a token sum each, your odds are much better than planting 1 field with 32 tokens, thats investment advice thats as old as the bible (in fact its IN the bible theres a lot of business advice in the books of Moses, in metaphors of agriculture)
Don't you think out of the top 32 coins, one will make 5 doublings, or at least the "index fund" like investment you make will repay itself? You basically bet on the house, instead of on the player
Investing in the Top-32 isn't carpet bombing, every one of them is aimed and precision guided.

Right after I acquired some Ether, it increased by about half
The 16 crypto basket took an uptick, now at +25% over investment.
Big 5 are higher.
Picked up a bit of extra NEO and Stratis.

A crypto nobody talks about - today I picked up a bit of Reddcoin (REDD), the social media penny crypto, in anticipation that in the coming days it will continue the climb its been on, after which I sell off enough to take my investment back and keep the remainder for longterm storage, cause I anticipate this one might make me proud in the future.
Reddcoin is basically a social media coin so when cryptos get more mainstream I expect a social media hype and sudden upswing. This is one that you can get at about 625 coins for a dollar now so there's no psychological barriers anywhere in sight if it does hype.
625 coins for a buck... Not something to go all out in, but for a token sum, I wouldnt miss out on it.

Yesterday I picked up Reddcoin (RDD) (basically a "social media coin") I picked up Crown (CRW) (Look into that one) and ArtByte (ABY) (an artists community currency).
I didnt mention the latter two here, but elsewhere I believe I did. These were intended as shortterm quick money grabs before the holidays
Today the HO HO HO is starting to happen, have a look (Priced in Euro = $1.18, period = most recent 30 days & below ann outline of the year)

Look out SpaceX, Crown seems to chomp at the bit to go vertical. (just an impression tho)
If anyone especially Geokills sees something horribly wrong with these by all means let us learn!

Its now been 13 days since the first buy and I've been learning and gathering momentum ever since.
At this point in time, 2 weeks after the first exploratory buy of 2 NEO, my investment across the board (Big 5 & Basket of 20) increased from 100% to 168.33%
Of this new 100% I cashed out 45% (77% of the invested sum) as money retaining 55% of the value as crypto.
You heard that right: only 23% of the originally invested sum is still in 25 kinds of crypto worth 92% of the originaly invested sum
Next stop is reinvesting that money to expand the Basket of 20 to a Basket of 35 and topping the ones up that are already in it.
Now we make money

I have trimmed down the money tree disproportionately so that I hold more cryptos for even less money and have most of that money back to reinvest it into the portfolio, leading hopefully to more robust gains.
Verge was 6.3, now it's 4.3. Around the peak I dumped half my verge. Should I now buy back I have more Verge for the same money.
My plan is different however, to go from 20 cryptos to 35 and increase the token sum by 1.5x. This puts 2.6x more action on the table, hopefully leading to gains following suit.

There's definitely going to be a Next New Thing that will make Big Money suddenly withdraw from cryptos causing a breathtaking pullback.
I don't nearly think we are there though and after big money has gone, people still want to buy stuff with cryptos, such as deep web stuff (BTC), game (VOX), social media (RDD) or artist community (ABY) tokens or to buy functionality in a network (STRAT) so the coins will be around as smaller taters after the crash.
Let us ALL be utterly vigilant and chime each other the fuck in if we see potential warning signs of this crash being imminent so that we can be mostly out before it goes down.
Lets be our own Tsumami Warning System for our lil network of crypto investors.

Echoing the musings of Stonehenge, I made a higher % profit on the currencies I held onto than the currencies I kept buying and selling.
