Doubt the market cap will grow that fast. I think 68k in a month is more plausible. We are gonna have a correction coming within a few days/week as people who bought in at 35k or below begin to take profits

Newbies to the crypto space have a bad habit of panic selling, as some come from the stocks world, and others have no idea how investments work, so any sort of correction over 8% leaves them shook.
For those of us who have been in the game for a while, a 20-65% correction is a normal Tuesday. For new people, its the end of the world.

The 61K rejection lined up perfectly with the regression band. Its gonna be a hard climb to 70k as many people jumped on this bandwagon mid January and we are now hitting 2x returns territory for them. BTC shed damn nearly 70 billion dollars from its market cap in the last day.

Actually not, almost every technical and cycle indicator points to nothing that resembles euphoria or overbought territory.
The 2018 top truly resembled a bubble, we're not even 3 times the previous top, that's nothing for Bitcoin cycles. Do you know your Bitcoin history, or are you just looking at price at this point?
Weve been in a bubble for a good 3 months, more like since the last halving. The question now is how far can the bubble stretch, especially if believing in the narrative that "institutional investors buying into the space" is changing this market cycle. Even then, a billion dollars from Tesla or 2 billion from MicroStrategy aint shit in a bucket worth 1 trillion+.

Its because everyone who jumped in at the start of the year is up 2x and are taking profit.

BTC just being BTC. We are way over extended, would love to see BTC capitulate down to 30-35k again and slowly make its way back to 60k+ by start of summer.

Hell yeah. I want blood in the water, even if its my own. A fearful crypto market usually always leads to a good crypto market.

This market cycle has already been extremely profitable, even for those who jumped on the bandwagon in January. A hard capitulation down would be a great benefit for many, as itll work as a reset to basically tack on another 2-10x returns (depending on the coin). Its also healthy for the market to have these hard corrections (assuming we dont enter a bear market), as thats how prices trend higher over time. I doubt we will see many coins push another 5x-10x+ returns for the rest of this market cycle, unless things tank, causing new money to flood in.

Short term capital gains is something to certainly watch out for.
For my bracket, Im taking a 32% hit every time. That alone changes the plays I make regarding risk vs reward.
You can also be taxed when you buy, sell, or convert crypto from one to another. You may not give a shit, but this is something very important to consider for a lot of people, especially those who have made some serious short term profits.
On the flip side, losses in crypto can be written off on your taxes, 3k per year. So for those who are deep in a red hole, consider it a 3k tax break for a few years to come.

Not worth the stress and tax hit off each day trade. Buy, hodl, forget that you bought, and keep DCA in over the next 8 years. Invite me to your mansion when ya make it.
