So has mine :highfive:.

It's actually tripled in the past 2-3 months. And I'm acquiring more each day as I can. I've found some other ones that I did decently on as well. Monero, Ripple, Stratis, Ethereum Classic (I was holding during the hard fork and ended up with both ETH and ETC)

At this point I guess it could very quickly crash back down to those low levels of 2 months ago but I am starting to doubt that with these constant all time highs happening daily. Seems like there is enough support to keep the prices going up, and even when a correction happens they seem to be fairly minor. I'm really not sure what to do anymore. Should I get out, sell half, sell a quarter? Hodl for as long as possible? I have sold coins in the past and severely regretted it, so I think I may just hodl everything and hope for the best.

One things for certain, I'm definitely going to put atleast $5K into tezos. I might even go bigger on Tezos. I have a good feeling about Tezos.

I am preparing myself to put a large sum into this one. I really believe it will do well.

Bitcoin is proven reliable and is decentralized. No one owns it, and no one can steal my bitcoins that are on a private encrypted wallet that is not stored on any computers. Certainly bitcoins price could crash and I accept that as an investor, maybe one day it will be worth $0. I don't really know, but I highly doubt that will happen anytime soon.

Digital currency is just the future. That's all.

So can you purchase this cypricurrentcy on exchanges now, such as BTE-e?

Tezos is currently in an initial coin offering and is available via the tezos crowdfund website or through bitcoin suisse. I just purchased mine by making an account at crowdfund.tezos.com

I hope that this actually does well. Sometimes you end up having an opportunity to get in cheaper than the ICO when they first start trading on exchanges, depending on a number of factors. I put in about $10K, I'm prepared and able to wait several years to see what the return is, I'm just in for the ride.

Good luck to all of you who decide to contribute!

I had bought some NEO/Antshares when it was trading at $7. I sold it about 10 days ago before it spiked, at $10 so I could buy back into BTC. Oops

Could have made 50-60 grand if I waited 10 days. Oh well, there'll be more chances. Even if Tezos reaches $4-$5 I'd be pretty happy and have a good return. I suspect this will happen eventually, maybe by 2019

I would have made 75K on my NEO holdings if I kept them one week longer. I needed funds and sold all at $9 a piece. The thing is I had several other coins I could have gotten rid of instead, like Stratis. I don't know why I chose NEO but if I waited 7 days I'd be up a lot

https://tezosfoundation.ch

Tezos board was expanded in late February and contains some notable figures, including Olaf Carlson-Wee.

They recently announced a partnership and funding for a program at INRIA called Learn Ocaml (the language that Tezos is written in)

There has been constant progress on their gitlab, and it looks like a real launch date may actually happen in 2-4 months.

Johann Gevers is gone, the guy who held up progress for all these months. Just yesterday they announced a partnership with Obsidian (can't remember the full name) a software company to create baking (staking) software for Tezos users.

Yes, I'm biased cause I donated a fair bit to Tezos but eh, things are starting to look up at least!

Felt I should update in case anyone was interested.

I have a couple GPU rigs (one is 7 x 1070 Ti and the other is a bunch of RX 570/580's..I think there's 11 but one has a broken fan atm)

and 6 ASIC miners but only 1 or 2 ASIC running at a time while I redo some electrical.

Gone to shit though, ROI on almost everything right now is 9-10 months at minimum. Best bet is to HODL long enough that your stashes from mining go up largely.

Sucks about the verge thing, I had a bad feeling about that currency and sold what I had off in January

I don't mind ethOS as an operating system, it's a linux based OS specifically made for mining, it costs $40 but you can find it on torrent websites for free.

It also isn't strictly ethereum mining, it has claymore and several other miners integrated into it and the drivers for Nvidia and AMD cards.

You might get a slightly higher hash rate with windows tweaked properly though windows can be a bitch sometimes.

I have since December been mostly mining equihash (zencash)

Did anybody invest in Video Coin?

They had a private sale to accredited investors and then decided to scrap their public ICO, but they just decided that they would accomodate a certain amount of people and sell more. USA citizens banned unfortunately and you had to have been whitelisted previously but I was pretty surprised to see the email.

I decided to put some funds into it. It's a long term investment (main network won't launch until 2019 end of year probably) but it's one of those ones i think I can tuck away and probably make at least 10-20x on it when the time comes.

Crypto is dropping like a rock. How low you guys think it will go?

I can't see us ever going below 5K again but honestly with the bear market we're in anything seems possible

Nano...do you mean a ledger nano? I just picked up one of these for baking my tezos with so I don't have to store my private keys on a machine.

Tezos released a new foundation website, I like it, tezos.foundation

Hey Geo,

Have you claimed your tezos on the beta net? Have you been baking?

I'm pretty happy with the rewards. I have like $10K in ASIC'S and GPU's and I'm making more money right now on my staked Tezos than I am mining ETH & BTC.

about 10-12% for the past 2 months

As of Monday (the 16th) the betanet label was officially removed and "main net" has launched. Not sure if you had heard that.

There is a few wallets too, I use one for linux that has a GUI called Galleon, it's had a security audit or two done on it. And yes, 10-12% is an annualized figure... I think only like 60% of ICO wallets have activated their accounts and due to the low amount of people staking the returns are higher for those of us that are delegated or baking. Basically I think it's about 2x the rate it would be, as 5.51% is inflation rate if everyone staked.

They have a ledger (hardware wallet) baking and wallet app but it still uses command line and it's probably too much for a lot of people. I hear that ledger wallet gui support will be released in the next 2-3 weeks
