I'm exploring them for health reasons initially - but agreed on your point.  All freaking in or true microdose from now on....

I microdose every other day.
There's a lot of new research on its benefits. You have to take just a little under being able to feel it

Sweet spot for me thus far for the batch I have dried is around .2 to .3 grams on a microdose.

Now I have to confess something else - I've never had a full trip.  Saving it for a camping trip in the planning stage.  I beginning to think I just need to go for it and quit waiting for the perfect setting.  Just another confession...

Last night, I was visibly agitated, per my wife...  Not a good time, but learned something in the process...

My wife always says she's never really tripped. Every time she eats shrooms with me she's tripping lol. Just forgets after a few months I guess

Its funny how different doses above a microdose can make the experience so different.  .2 - .3gm and its subperceptual - I start picking out visual details I previously wouldn't identify and stream of thought is more fluid.  .5-.6gm I get a bit body stoned, which helps with some inflammation, but don't get the anxiety.  This is weird though as sometimes I'll get directionality of light perceptions much clearer than others - sometimes nothing at all.  And then there was my dose last night - get me off this freaking train - no visuals, just pinned up angst that never released...

my AA comes up to pressure in less than 5min. boil the water first. load up. vent for 15min. gets to 15psi at the 20min mark.

ive used prestos for culinary applications and they do not hold heat as well. so when doing multiple runs..
or many quick runs like in some cooking(snake, gator) you only PC for 5 min. prestos take much longer
to come up to pressure cause once you pop them open they loose all the heat. less dense, thermal mass and what not.
the AAs can pump out 4 batches per hour, if made to order. a presto can maybe do 2 in that same time.

but the price is insane. only in fancy kitchens did i see AAs for food. 300~ for something that can do the same task for 80~ is a no brainer.
but if you need to bring up a PC quick.. and do many small runs of something, they pay for themselves in turnaround(restaurant wise)

I rock two presto 23s at once and after a 10-15min vent it comes up to pressure in less than 5 minutes.

AAs are definitely not less efficient than prestos

AAs have a metal to metal seal, no rubber gasket to fuck around with.
They have a 3 way weight system.
They are solid aluminum so there is almost no chance of it bulging out if you accidentally cook it dry.
They retain heat much better and heat up much faster, plus you can mod a canner and turn it into a sterilizer.
The quality is far superior. The only down side is the price...

I own an AA and a presto so this isn't just conjecture. Prestos are good for the size you can get for the price,
that's about the only thing presto has over AA...

I've looked into converting my PC into a sterilizer. Read a thread on it. Always was nervous about doing modifications to a pressure cooker. worth it?

I confess I really envy you Americans for having acces to AA or any big ass pressure cookers easily. In Europe, you would have to dish out 1500 or something to get near 23qts...

If I lived in Europe and had a house, I would build a steam sterilizer. You don't have to build one out of a big drum,
you could probably make a scaled down version:shrug:

The only thing is they run on 24 hour cycles so your prep would be a 2 day process.
