"theirs a cat in the blue coming after you, holy diver"

The cat symbolizes the feminine nature as well as the capacity to see and have strength and purity. Earlier in the song a tiger is referenced(not just a lil baby house cat lol)
Blue is symbolic color of water, essence, the soul, and the emotional body. Which transfers over to the feminine aspect again, or Isis, goddess what have you. The cosmic blackness. The nightness of night. The mystery of mysteries.

So basically the strength(masculine purity) gained from the cosmic blackness (feminine wisdom) is coming after you, Holy Diver(man) in this experience of reality.

All of the symbols and meanings I've listed are very face value and not to be taken as dogma. They don't only have one meaning.

But my main point is to show how in depth his Lyrics are symbolically and poetically.

Are you content with just stones or would you like to fruit them?  If you want fruit get that temp up to 78.

Singularly the only piece of information anyone has given me on the subject in 5 threads and two weeks. Thanks homie.
I am aiming for fruit. I want to get prints.
I will work on increasing the temp.

78 is the lowest temp for fruiting but works fine.  I've had no issues on up to 84.  Heard tales of fruiting at 100 degrees.

Someone should cultivate shrooms on a yacht,  and name it Penis Envy. That would be a good set up I think.

Well to be fair I wouldn't expect someone for whom electronic music = beats to like it, since I wouldn't either going by that definition.

I haven't personally attempted to do anything at 100 degrees.  Haha.  I had no issues at 84 tho.  This was in an attempt to determine if flushing got better as temp went up.  While I saw no detrimental effects, I also saw no improvement over regular old 78.  78 is as low as I would personally go, because I found that is the point where ive found reluctance to fruiting stops.

I don't even know what this means.  Anyway I used to like metal a lot more but mushrooms and the mentality they brought on kind of made me not as much after a while.  People listen to music for different reasons but music will always evoke some kind of emotional response or we wouldn't do it.  Becoming hyper aware of the context of a song and what it's conveying rule out a lot of my previous taste in music.  A lot of stuff will come off as self indulgent pointlessly edgy bullshit and it doesn't matter how human it sounds if the context sucks.  I like instrumentals a lot more than anything with lyrics recently because it doesn't try to force anything on you, you can intepret it as it is without words bringing in unwanted context and distracting/detracting from the objective enjoyment of music.

Having the right balance of math and emotions is what makes good music, doesn't matter how it was created.

Anyway have I been missing anything the last few months, cult wise?  I don't really see anything new on the boards but who knows with how much stuff gets buried here.

Thanks homie, mucho grande amor. Really glad they're working out for you. I take the production of spores more serious than the production of active fruit. I am glad it reflects in the cleanliness.
Thanks again for your end as well.

Yeah 100 seems to be close to death imo. I would and will aim for about 80. Hopefully this will give me the results I look for.

@Inoc
You are actually right on the nail with all of that. The mathematical and emotional balance, yin and yang, masculine feminine.
Metal is all masculine and no harmony or beauty most times. I enjoy metal(prog and melodic, math etc) but as you said 90% of it comes off as pretentious edgy pointlessness to me.

Instrumentals are 95% of what I listen to as well. It's awesome to listen to beautiful or cool or insightful poetry but words distract from the other shit happening. Also when you write instrumentals it HAS to be musically good or it isn't interesting. Compared to songs with lyrics where most times the music is to carry and fill the space of the vocals.

As for mushcult, same old same old. I have been doing lots of novelty stuff lately and pasty spawned a bath tub. Also saw PPP have a double tier mono and some others working on thin substrates for higher one flush wonders.
Besides that I have just been seeing subpar shit. Just people growing. Rad tubs every now and again but nothing but cubes cubes cubes cubes cubes.

There's something primal about beats, it's in our dna in my opinion.
Our ancestors used drums in ceremonies to achieve altered states of mind, among other things, sometimes with the aids of drugs.

Beats can evoke states of mind other types of music cannot. Anyone who's been at raves knows this, it brings a kinda flow with it and a sense of unity if you catch what I mean.
