Psy space, letting go, and the Fear (also a very long ramble
    #2429635 - 03/14/04 12:10 AM (14 years, 1 month ago)

) On high doses of psychedelics but more so on dissassociatives I've come to a point where my entire existence is enveloped in a green swirling grid that my senses and awareness gradually seep into. The more I let myself go, the further I am drawn into this sea of melting grids. At some point, however, I always hold myself back and the sheer primal terror of letting go completely pulls me back. This terror is something I thought was beyond my control, but on subsequent trips I was able to fight it down. I think that one person alone is not strong enough, does not have the resolve to see what is hidden and come back unscathed. I feel that if I do let myself go that last little bit I may disappear. In my mind I'm wondering is it worth it, can I deal with what is going to be shown to me if I choose to do it. Is there even anything there at all? I guess my question to you guys is should I go with it completely next time...does this post even make sense?

The farther you go the farther you will understand. Spiral out without fear and remember to live what you believe.

Thats almost exactly how it was for me with LSD, i kept being pulled into this sprial of the room as it was melting away...
I kept sinking in deeper and deeper into it, but whenever i would start to really fall far into it the fear of not being able
to come back would scare me and i would pull myself out by having to sit up and move around.
I know exactly what you
mean, or at least i think i do, maybe the next time it happens i'll go all the way and try not to be afraid of what could
happen. I like what psyka said, and i agree with it so i think i'll try to just let go and fall completly into the melting sprial
of the room.

Thanks, I'll check that book out. I did a little reading online and apparently the brain might be ordered the same way a hologram is as well. Maybe we can have a discussion on the topic after I read the holographic universe.

Go for it...all you have to lose is your self. Don't worry, there won't be a "you" that has to deal with anything.

I guess the scariest part is that I feel my heart stop and I can't feel myself breathing anymore even though the desire remains...I always feel like I'm physically dying which is disconcerting. Thanks for the affirmations though, guys.
