dogs are great but very co-dependant. cats are great to practice sharing space without needing contact necessarily. they take car of themselves much more

I prefer cats, but the gf is allergic... we have 2 dogs, 2 parakeets, 4 snakes, 3 kids (basically pets,right?) And a hamster!

I used to work with a guy who took pleasure out of torturing his gf`s cat. I dislike them but this guy took it too far by putting them into boxes and other stuff i can`t remember

if you think a cat is an "emotional slave" to a human, then you have probably never had a cat, at least not a smart, non-retarded cat.

are you kidding? dogs will take down deer, rabbits, cats, etc...in a heartbeat. not a second thought before or after.

cats are as equally empathetic as dogs, too. cats know when people are sick and need rest. cats know when people are angry and to stay away.
