Testing the Waters with a 20qt Monotub

Hello everyone, I am relatively new to Shroomery. I've been reading and researching for some months now, but only registered recently. My goal for this post is to ask all of you if my preparation is sound, or if it needs some changes. Thanks for reading!
Before I begin I would like to say I have a large project in mind for later in the upcoming months. This post will be detailing a single 20qt Monotub that I will be using to test my preparation, substrate, sterile procedure, etc.
Monotub Design Long Side(s): 5 1in holes (spaced evenly) drilled at 4in mark Short Side(s): 1 2in hole centered at 1in from the top
I will be using micropore tape instead of polyfill (I've read complaints of mushrooms entangling with it) thus I am using more holes as the tape provides less GE. I will use two layers on the lower holes and a single layer for the top holes to follow the idea that polyfill is packed tight at the bottom and loose on top.
EDIT: The lid that was included with the tub is NOT clear. I've seen people using saran wrap as an alternative, will that suffice?
20qt Monotub Dimensions: 16.9in X 11.5in X 9.2in Substrate: CVG; 60:30:10; 3.5in depth Spawn: 4qt (nearly full qt jars) Rye Berries/Grain I used the substrate calculator found at:
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/15656577
to give me a 1:2 spawn-to-sub ratio. I will be inoculating using a PE syringe purchased online within the next two weeks.
One thing I am pondering is pasteurization. I have read that pasteurizing CVG is unnecessary as it doesn't contain beneficial nutrients. Should I do it just in case? If so, can someone link a proper pasteurization method? I have found that they vary from post to post.
Regarding inoculation, I will be following proper sterile conditions, pressure cooking before inoculation, and flame sterilizing before each jar. The temperature of my house is between 75F and 77F at all times, so I don't believe an incubator is necessary.
Lastly, once the sub/spawn has colonized completely, how necessary is light and moving air?. I have a ceiling fan and portable fan in my room, I believe having just the portable on low should be ample. How is light intake affected if I store the monotub on a shelf in my closet or under my bed?
Thank you again for taking the time to read this and answer my questions, I really appreciate you all sparing me your time!

dont misuse vendor syringes. its against the rules
build a SAB for inoculation.
make your mono look like this. 1inch holes? meh. stick with the classic layout.

or for a 20qt MINI mono.. make it like this..

I apologize for that, I reread the rules thread and corrected it.
So less, larger holes would be better overall in your experience?

Thanks for the tip! With that in mind I could run both types side by side as an experiment and record the results for reference.

If they are literally side by side, they will be affected by convection currents between the boxes

Not literally side by side; rather, just at the same time.

You don't need to sterilize coir. Light and air are Necessary
