Liquid fertilizer
    #24267563 - 04/24/17 12:23 AM (7 years, 8 months ago)

What's up guys. I wouldnt call myself an expert but I'm to the point where I'm experimenting with different stuff and was curious on everyone's thoughts on using a root igniter on in my substrate. I know I know some of you are gonna be like what the hell? But be opened minded and bare with me lol any input would be awesome. By the way the liquid fertilizer is a low dose and all natural.

mushrooms do not have roots. you do not need this at all, and should not use it.

Ok so I read in the book introductory mycology that the mushrooms can create the nutrients that they need. They make their own fertilizer basically. These are not plants and any root stimulator or rooting hormone is not going to help, if anything it may kill the mycelium.

Right on. I was reading that as well but was curious on everyone else thoughts on it as well. I haven't got too many different views on it but although it's 2017 there is so much more to know about mycelium and mycology in general. Thanks guys!

Cubensis wants the first shot at decomposition, they make the fertilizer. A lot of molds and mycelium produce nitrogen and phosphate metabolites. Like psilocybin and psilocin

I currently use EWC coco coir and vermiculite. I haven't used gypsum yet but I probably won't. I have amazing results right now I just like experimenting. Thanks for the info guys.
