Thanks, those are just shop lights from any hardware store- I think those fixtures were 10$ from Lowes- they just hold two long florescent bulbs (I use 6500K). I like these for monotubs, I have 4 of them. I like to stand them up in the corner because they won't tip, so I just do stacks of 4-5 tubs in each corner of the room. I hook them to a powerstrip on a timer. If you don't stack your tubs you can lay it across the line on top of the lids

Light rings around your window ever worry you? I have curtains and shit but still don't like keeping the lights on overnight. You can see the ring around the window a mile away.

Actually I set the timer so it turns on during the day and off at night. But the way our city streets are set up and the row of pine trees along the fence I don't think you could sees much anyway

I hope so, its getting a little chilly at nights so I expect growth to slow...hopefully it warms back up... Getting ready to g2g my AA+ into 12 receiving jars of wbs.. Decided since my redboys were iffy along with my Lefty's, that I was gonna expand enough to run 6 mini mono's of Aa+..

This is my first time trying. I read that standing them up should work. I guess I'll find out.

Okay.
Just clearing the air on some small BS man, that's it.
moab you just got over problems.. just because you can fruit tubs next to mold using clean spawn doesn't mean having mold continually sporulating all over your grow room won't sabotage any future grows. even in a SAB your media is open briefly, the lower spore load the better. simple as that. it's not that it will contam other things you have going it's that it will try to contaminate anything you are going to have growing. you gotta think about when the mold is getting in to the sub

That and if your doing other types of mushrooms that don't use coir. Those subs need to be properly pasteurized. My thought is the beneficial microbials and aggressive mycelium can only "eat" so much mold at a time and with higher spore loads not all of it can be eaten at a rapid enough pace to deter germination.

Why are you guys PCing empty syringes anyway? If you want to suck up LI, you can just boil water and aspirate/spit out the water 3-4 times, then leave it in there on the 4th. Then wipe down the syringe in the SAB with iso and you're good. There's no endopores on plastic so you don't need to PC it.

And when it does, learn how to pull a crop out of those tubs!
I run a lot of tubs in a single room, like upwards of 100 or more. Some of those are in different stages in the same room. I wont throw away a good tub with a spot of trich.
If you have a pinset, knock the shit out of the trich with some 90% iso, and then cover the tray and finish fruiting.
As for pseudomonas, that really seems to be a water issue...Too wet/unclean water. Correct me if I'm wrong...Bodhi had a lot of experience with that at one time and I've had it as well..For me its all about proper clean water content and it becomes a non issue.
