hey guys, so i have been thinking about this for a bit and wanted some feedback from those more experienced with what i am trying to do
so i recently built a solid flowhood, and am now building the table for it so that it is installed into a closet, to make best use of space. the table i am building has an e-nail, recycler, and quartz bucket built into it (just like my coffee table
so i have been trying to decide on what kind of microscope i want to incorporate. so far, ive been leaning towards a nice trinocular one so i could share all kinds of sexy pics
one like this:

ive also been considering an operating scope, which seems like it would be WAY handy for working with single spores, monokaryotic cultures, etc
something like this:

does anyone have any notes, advice, or feedback on this approach?
the main thing i want to use it for is the aforementioned monokaryotic stuff, taking cool pics, and visually inspecting cultures for clamp connections, contams, and god

Yeah and maybe pick up some side work surgeries or somethin. You know, for a little extra scratch.
I say go for it. If you have the cash and room for it, why not get the biggest most bad ass tools

lol mob doctor style if i put on all my lab gear, id probably look pretty damned convincing hahaha... or like a serial killer
its not a matter of whether or not i need it or should get it, its a matter of figuring out what is best suited for my applications and goals, and what will be the most useful for my future projects and the community as a whole
i dont have any problem investing in my skill set or capabilities. this is my hobby, sure as hell beats the money people spend "supporting" their favorite sports team (but to each his own)
oh, and lab equipment gets my dick hard
