Yet another PE harvest question

So I've been searching and reading and searching and reading and here is what I have come up with for when to harvest PE
- 1-When veil breaks
- 2-When stem gets gnarly/knobby under cap
- 3-When cap lightens in color
- 4-When cap/stem starts to blue
- 5-When fruit stops growing
- 6-When fruit starts to get soft
Does anyone have an opinion as to which of these would be most correct in most cases?
I have 2 tubs from MS so I know I'm dealing with many different characteristics and that each fruit or group of fruits may be different but I'm trying to get a better idea if I should harvest. Selective harvest? If there is a harvest ready fruit in the middle of a grouping should I try to surgically remove it?
Here are some of todays pics

What i know and experienced about normal psilocybe cubensis is that they produce most active ingredients during early grow phase. As soon as first veils break is usually a good harvest time for me, as it also prevents dark spores from ruining their nice look. However, Penis Envy is a little bit crippled considering spore drop etc. anyway, but id stick with what also works for all other cubensis strains.
Edit: Partially harvesting had bad effects on my following flushes, but you should probably wait for an opinion from a more experienced grower.

Personally I would harvest most of those, if not all

I wouldn't. Not until they get wrinkles under the caps, kinda like a ball sack. Like this:

Veil breaking doesn't really apply to PE.

Okay, good to know, it just looked to me like the pins were aborting and might as well harvest...

Some of them are, but those big ones can get a few extra inches on them for sure

Thanks for the input. I'll let them go a bit longer.
What about the aborts? Should I try and pick those out? Will they rot?

You should pick aborts when you pick the whole flush.
