Yep, transplanted just now. Sure enough, the roots were dying to get out. Thanks guys. Will post more pics if it explodes in growth.

Quick update... Sorry in advance for the blurriness. My camera is garbage

My rifat and two bb's are settling into their new containers nicely as well as basking in the long awaited embrace of natural sunlight :awesome:

Here's a new transplant that got totally shocked by the intensity of the sunlight. Lost all its leaves and wasn't looking promising @ all. Then low and behold it bounced back!

Here's my second oldest. He's really making a come back..  Def needs a feeding and a transplant, but regardless hes been really filling out

Here's a tiny little guy finally coming out of its stall out period...

And my oldest krat daddy. He's the reason all my plants are in this world. He's taking a little longer to get going good, but there's a lot of shoots starting. He got transplanted recently and I think he's still getting settled. Nevertheless, he's the king of this part of town :hehehe:

Going to feed all of them tonight, so hopefully that helps...

Here's his mini trunk

And lastly for now, here's a shot of the eldest ones and a few new transplants mixed in... Plus some other plants from the garden

You have such a beautiful garden Lipa, it's crazy!
I always catch myself drooling when I read one of your posts haha

But seriously, huge props to you bro, must have taken years of dedication for our beloved plant to get to that point. Keep it up dude!

That's awesome man. Props.

I have a question guys. Forgive me again for being such a noob. Should I top my plant, and if so, how tall should I let it get before then?

Secondly, when (if) I do do that, I want to try growing that cutting hydroponically as a bit of an experiment. How do you recommend I go about doing that? How do I root the plant and then transfer to a hydroponic substrate?

You will eventually need to top it if you have to bring it in for the winter. You should let it get taller before you cut it. Maybe let it get to 3 feet tall or so. I had a deer munch the top out of a Bumble Bee not much bigger than your plant. It branched profusely, growing horizontal more than vertical. It would have worked out better if it had been a little taller. You'll be able to make a lot of cuttings from your tree this summer. I'm planning on posting my method for rooting cuttings once my plants are growing full speed.

I think you should skip the hydroponics. Your plants will quickly outgrow it once summer is in full swing.

Do you really think it'll grow that quickly? How quick do these guys typically usually grow? The stem is only like 7in tall

^^^ The next 2 or 3 sets of leaves may seem to come slow, then branches will come from the lower nodes. That will happen in a month or less, then your plant will grow exponentially. Just keep giving it warmth, light, humidity, and lots of water. You're getting an early start on the growing season, my plants are still waking up from winter. Your plant will be a 6 foot tall monster by September that can't get enough water.

Fucking sweet! I heard that you can only usually harvest after like 2 years… but by your description I'd be able to have at least a few grams by then??

Yeah, you could if you wanted. What is likely to happen is that you'll have extensive side branching after you clip the top. That will give you a bunch of tips to cut and root later this summer, and you'll get some leaves to sample from doing that.

I'll be taking some Super Green Malaysian  cuttings Monday, start rooting some for 'the jungle'.  They really thrive on the Texas coast..grow big, strong, and potent.

Since mine is making a comeback, would a 5 gallon container be enough to allow good growth? What size does everyone use, that keeps theirs potted?

Happy growing homie

Awesome! I thought it was dead.... But I have two funky looking leaves and the start to a couple new branches I'm hoping that it can adapt to my not-so-humid location. The average RH for the summer is in the mid 80's a little bit before noon.

It'll be cool, just keep up the waterings. I prefer to water at night and never when the suns up.

My babies today.

Not near summer yet but the temps are up there and near 100. So I added a layer of oak leaves since they take for ever to decompose but it adds extra protection from evaporation while I'm away for a week.

Does this seem like a worthwhile idea?

Looking good ferrel! The oak leaves might work... I usually put some rock hunks and even pine cones to keep out the cats and just for good luck, but it seems to help with evaporation... I'll do a rain dance for you bro :super:
