The definitive diagnosis is radial nerve palsy, which can happen over night at anytime.
It's a form of cerebral palsy commonly called "honeymoon palsy".
The neurologist said judging by my EMG results and my xrays the palsy caused a slipped disc in my back. Some people pull through it like a champ and heal fine, some get stuck.
It was improving. Not nearly what it was. I was slappin da bass, and then I couldn't even finish the solo at night with ol lefty when this set in.
Things are a fucked situation and my neurologist thinks more is going on either with my brain or heart, but my insurance isn't down with real testing. I just keep seeing specialists, get diagnosed and medicated, and they put the request in to find out if something serious is going on and united health care denies it.
I'm in muddy waters but I'm singing while I trudge.

Even if I died this second, I'd still know I did so much in such a small amount of time that I would have no regrets.
I wish things were the way they were, but I can only hope for how they will turn out.

It is, and he doesn't have it. Whoever diagnosed that is a fucking moron. I treat cerebral palsy every day, and I've also hung out with Vandago. He doesn't have it.

I have radial nerve palsy, been seeing a neurologist, definitively have it. You saw me almost 10 years ago, know nothing about my current health status.

Cerebral palsy I thought was a broaden term and different forms of palsy stem from it.
Don't come in here telling me what I do and don't have.

I am only going by what my neurologist says on cerebral palsy, he said it varies in forms, and can happen at different stages in life.
I woke up with my wrist crumpled unable to move but my pinky finger, and it stemmed up to the shoulder.
I had testing to confirm this.
I suppose if what you are saying is I don't have cerebral palsy, yet I do have radial nerve palsy, that's fine. But this year has taken a serious tole on my health, I'd kindly like you not to diagnose me from 2009.

I have a brachial plexus injury (erbs palsy) it SUCKS. I can't use my arm at all except my fingers. I recently had surgery that split my ulner nerve to my bicep to give me a functioning elbow. I alvused 3 of my nerves in the BP.
I hope you feel better soon OP

Have you considered applying for disability? I would think you would have a decent shot, considering you have a lot on record with regard to doctors seen, tests done, etc...
In any case, best wishes

I'm a medical professional that specializes in treating cerebral palsy. I will tell you that you don't have that, because you don't. Radial nerve palsy isn't cerebral palsy....not even close. Palsy is just a term that means paralysis....not necessarily full paralysis, but severe limitation of functioning. Which can be caused by any number of things. Cerebral palsy is caused by an insult to the brain that happens anywhere from in utero to very early childhood. What you have is very different.

My doctor either poorly described it to me, or I poorly understood. What I was diagnosed with was radial nerve palsy in both arms, and a slipped disc in the back
Unfortunately I can't get approved for an MRI or a cat scan with my insurance.
