fantastic job ham, that is gorgeous!!! i cant wait to get in on that giveaway, i just finished one myself, mailing out a ton of PE and AA+ tomorrow
any backstory on these? do you have any idea how they got this way, or how many generations youve seen this phenotype in? im really curious if this is something you worked towards or just a freak occurrence
in any case, great job!
Yes the origin of these LGT's is known. The person who did the work is also known. A print from them was received, there are 54 substrates, and everyone of them is throwing white fruits.. EVERY SINGLE ONE. There is not one average colored fruit to be seen.
Hundreds of pounds of GT have been grown, and seen being grown through out the years, and not once has GT been observed to throw a luecestic fruit, so it's unknown where that information is coming from.

R3dz?
Munch has the ghosties down to second generation now so if there's any hope at stabilization I'm putting my money there

You are incorrect.. This print is 4th generation, and didn't come from the Shroomery (if that's what you mean by redz). Good guess though.

Ya I'm pretty sure munch got it from r3dz. He never claimed to stabilize it or anything like that as far as I know, he even claims it could have been a mix up. I just know that r3dz is the one who named them and grew the "first" tub of ghosties

that thread has all the info basically and the pics still work if you click them

The print being worked with featured in this thread did not come from "R3dz".
The print being worked wasn't sourced from the Shroomery. The source of the print featured in this thread stabilized the genes before releasing a stock of prints.
All the best is wished for Munch, and his endeavors with the stabilization of his Leucestic Golden Teachers. There is no doubt Munch will be able to stabilize his Leucistic Golden Teacher's genes.

So how many known TRUE albino strains are there. I know ape, but didn't it result from a PE x PF albino? As far as I can find Ape, and the PF albino are the only true albinos. That's assuming I am even close to being right. lol

You're right Except PFA is long lost so technically APE is the last standing true albino variety

I recently saw a post on here where somebody had a true albino they were working on...Wish I could remember who that was... Looked like a regular cube, just albino.

I don't think it is truly lost. I think workman still has a line of the PF albino that he uses to bread the APE. I know he is working on an APE 2.0. I could have stories that I read mixed up. Sorry sick family and lack of sleep.
I had also heard rumors, on very rare occasion, that some people will get white ones out of a PF syringe, I think from sporeworks.

One thing that IS NOT wanted here is for there to be a pissing contest between who gets what LGT print from who, "Well I am team hamloaf. NO! I am team Munch", where everyone ends up divided as a community. Mushroom Cultivation isn't about competition. It's about co-operation.
Would gladly accept a print from Munch, and Munch is more than welcome to one of the prints featured in this thread (which I believe to be 5'th generation) on the house. We are all in a unique situation here to combine our forces with two of the same rare spore prints from 2 separate sources, so let's expand upon that idea instead of getting caught up in the division game.
