PE 27QT Mono *with pics

Hey fellas,
I know how much everyone likes looking at dick pics, so I thought I'd take a few snap-a-roo's to share.
As the title says, the variety is Penis Envy and I used a 27 quart tote for my mono set up. The substrate consists of just CVG. About half a brick of coir, 1 qt of verm, and a tbsp of gypsum. The sub + 2qts of spawn gave me a depth of just under 3".
The culture I used for my spawn is 3 transfers away from the spore syringe. I just wanted to get a clean culture to grow out and clone from. I think I may have a few decent specimens in this grow, what do you guys think?

This is my first successful PE grow. I tried once before when I was new and still fucking with cakes, but never produced anything to show for it. It's been a few years since then so I wanted to try again.
I did get some blobs even though I cased. Luckily it was just a few. I wasn't sure how big they would grow, so I haven't harvested them yet, although today I noticed they were going soft and blue so it seems they're on their way past prime. Next time I'll harvest the blobs sooner.
As for the normal looking fruits, I'm assuming they should be ready to pick between now and Friday?
Here's a pic of the most mature fruit (bottom center):

Here's a pic of the youngest looking fruits (nearest the polyfil):

Thanks for looking!

Cool. I think I'm going to do a partial harvest now and the rest tomorrow evening. Seems like most of them are getting that "signature PE bumpiness" under the cap. However, I did read in a particular thread here that one should wait until the underside of the cap begins to turn blue before picking with the PE variety...was an old thread though.
As far as drying, I have a dehydrator that I set to like 120 F and let go over night. By morning I usually have dry mushrooms. I'm expecting these stems to be denser than most, though, so maybe I need to make some adjustments?

Thx guys, I'm very happy with this one. I was prepared to grow only blobs, in fact, half-expected it, but wound up with a nice first flush. Anyone wanna guess the yield for this flush?
I also want to mention that this tub was cased with a pre-made (by a sponsor), peat moss casing mix.
I have 2 other tubs in-progress right now, both from the same PE family as this tub, only transferred from different points on the 2nd plate. I'm interested to see how much the differences in prep effect the yield. I'll probably post the results of those tubs too so just for reference:
Tub #1 (this tub): 27 qt Mono, CVG substrate at 3" depth, pre-made peat moss casing
Tub #2: 27 qt Mono, pre-made "zoo-manure" based substrate at 3" depth, cased with CVG
Tub #3: 66 qt Mono, CVG substrate at 5" depth, cased with CVG

I can't wait for a good clean culture. PE is probably my fastest agar colonizer right now. Giving good growth!

PE seems to eat through it's medium much more thoroughly than other variety's. On agar, my PE cultures have consumed all the agar, food coloring and all, turning the entire plate pure, mycelial white.
To compare, I have some GT and B+ mycelium on agar that have been sitting around a few months, definitely older than the PE plates, that have still only managed to colonized the top of the plate.
I wonder, is this why PE tend to be more potent? Because they consume more of the substrate before flushing? That line of thinking would lead me to believe that PE will produce less flushes than regular cubes. Am I correct?

no. its genetics.
i have this one culture that drinks water like you wouldnt believe. fruits are average in size and potency.
maybe it does play some part? but asking those questions ...take you down the v-path it does.

Do PE produce as many flushes as normal cubes? I usually get 3 from regular cubes.
