I see a lot of canopies on the site here...My question is...What are the weights? Are these types of flushes more weighty than other types?

Absolutely beautiful work Ham!

Thanks bruddah!  These fruits aren't as dense as a lot of the other fruits that have been grown.  They are also very stringy.  There are a few things that I've noticed with this variety that differ than most the other varieties grown.

First of all they seem to really enjoy more air, and light than usual.  The density issue being experienced here is most like due to the temps in the fruiting area getting up to about 75.  Usually the fruiting area is sustained at around 70F.  With the weather warming up around here it is been time to begin to fire up the old cooling system.

All in all I wouldn't say this variety is "weighty", but in true Golden Teacher fashion it pumps out the fruits, and pumps them out fast.  Hopefully these will live up to the level of potency Golden Teacher has a reputation of.  The density issue could be solved if the temp in the fruiting area was dropped about 5-6 degrees at the sacrifice of everything taking a little bit longer to mature.

I wonder how stable the Lucy prints will be. GT is well domesticated already so it may be hard to stabilize a lucy this far down the rabbit hole.

any backstory on these? do you have any idea how they got this way, or how many generations youve seen this phenotype in? im really curious if this is something you worked towards or just a freak occurrence

in any case, great job!

Pretty sure ghostie came from user The redz and he got it by accident from a random GT syringe if I'm not mistaken.

thanks for the info guys :highfive1:

is this stabilized at all, or is it the first generation of all lucys?

i think i have seen a few lucy GT fruits in some MS grows, but im not totally sure about that because if they were they werent stable: clones had lots of sectors and big brown fruits

ive never seen a whole flush of them though, that is just beautiful

im really interested in learning the principles and dynamics involved in stabilizing races/variants
