Any thoughts, opinions, and/or experience with the Vevor VD-650 Flow Hood on Ebay? http://www.ebay.com/...t-/391750591931 There's a few listings for this flow hood with $560 including shipping being the cheapest listed, plus there's the 'Make Offer' option.
Not interested in building my own flow hood.

haha. lots of DIY people here. its like you want to buy an electric smoker and we are all using natural hardwood homemade kettles
you could build a hood for like 200-250 i think? this site is loaded with that. not reviews about overpriced shit.

I don't have tools or anyone that I'm close with that does. I could pickup an extra weekend night shift and come close to making up the difference between building my own or purchasing one online and being done with it. But I get it, online anonymity allows people to be a douche without any repercussions so they go that route cause it's in their nature or whatever small-dick problems they have.

Most of us build because it is much cheaper.
If you are going to buy expect to pay at least 600$.
I'd check out Fungi Perfecti. The Series 1 is a 12 x 24" filter face, its pretty portable , its big enough to do anything with.
I built an 18 x 24" hood. I believe they sell one of these too, and then of course the big ones

You should just buy something that's proven to work and not put up with the hassles of building your own ,ore getting a little teeny unit or somebody else's garbage that you don't want I bought two of these large units and put them together just because they were super cheap and I love Them

It's so nice to work in front off, I have 4' x 4' I can walk around and move cultures and lift and put things here and there any place I want I have tons of room I bought four units for $300 used and they were in excellent condition I sold two of them for 500 each made all my money back plus a profit

Oh bloody hell that is quite the setup. Do you recall the brand and model of those suckers?
I'm searching around the region for used lab equipment. That Envirco I linked to has the velocity at 90 fpm @ 325 watts within the data sheet which is a hair low. That unit does have 3 speeds so I waiting to hear back if that 90 fpm @ 325 watts is the low setting and if so what is the velocity for Medium and High.

Well 2 foot high was cutting it close if i wanted to do large grow bags, since I made money purchasing the four and selling two I decided to use them for the height of grow bags It also cleans the air in the room in about 15 minutes

I never had a problem with tall bags with my little hood I just tilt them, but it would me nice to not have to worry about how high I'm moving man
